Cannot fault this hospital. In today for wrist surgery as a day patient. Everyone went out of their way for us patients today. Very chatty, very attentive and friendly. 20/10 for staff. A very BIG THANKYOU 🥰 XXX

Had minor surgery here. I cannot speak highly enough of the level of care I received and friendly staff. Everything was explained in great detail and they could simply not do enough for you. Absolutely first class.

Arrived in A&E today 05/06/23.
It was really busy , I got seen very quick , sent for an xray and back into A&E straight after and I was seen again within 20 minutes and left with instructions to return. Excellent service by all the staff, always busy always a smile.

Last year my mother Vicki Broadhead was in ward 4 and just recently on ward 2 .
The staff on both wards & of every job role .
They go over and above I’m sure what their job description is
A smile ,a kind word , empathy to family & patient alike ,encouragement, sincerity , patience ,
professionalism & the confident air of authority when needed .

Had to travel from Sunderland for my MRI Scan. I have to say from reception to my introduction to staff. Also my Scan.
I was in so much pain.
However the staff were Brilliant.
Went above and beyond.
As a retired Registered Mental health nurse. I still have the habit of observations from start to finish.

I attended the breast care clinic on December 1st 2022 following a referral from my GP. I just want to pass on my grateful thanks to all the staff in the department. It was a seamless and efficient service and everyone was so friendly. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful hospital.

I cannot thank the NHS team at this amazing hospital. Professionalism goes hand in hand with their genuine care for their patients. I was on ward 3 HEXH last Tues 09 August having left hip replacement. They were ALL wonderful as individuals with the ability to put me at ease, taking time to care for my needs and offering emotional support. The hospital itself was 100% in every way. I received day case surgical treatment at this hospital on 23rd Jume 2023. I cannot recommend the facility highly enough. The fabric of the building is clean and welcoming- which filled me with confidence and the whole team were kind, considerate and very professional . Thank you.
