A basic honest pub with good food & ale at fair prices.
Great views of the basin & people watching.
You get a great view whilst eating. The food choice was good, and I enjoyed the smoked mackerel. My companion had a vegan dish and enjoyed it. Staff are friendly and helpful. The pub was busy.
I would recommend visiting the area.
Stopped here for lunch. Had best fish and chips that I’ve had in a long while. Lovely haddock with gorgeous batter. Nice to see a good old fashioned pub that has not been turned into a gastropub. Real pub with real food for real people. Thank you.
