Review Masala - Heysham

I visited here twice to pick up a takeaway while on business. The customer service from the staff is really good. They’re very welcoming and, unlike a lot of takeaways that are part of a restaurant, the wait for food is reasonably short. The restaurant itself looked nice and, had a been with my fiancée, I’d probably have ate in!

lovely food . friendly staff . but best of all you can take your own booze so not paying bar prices . brilliant

We ordered a takeaway. The food was amazing. We asked for a mild curry and it was just that. Would order from here again. Would recommend to anybody.

Well the food was fantastic, there's always a vibe with Indian cuisines. The place is very clean and it's fresh food. Sadly didn't take photos because I enjoyed the moment and left way too late😊. So you can sit and relax after your meals

Hubby & I tipped up unexpectedly but they managed to fit us in. Very pleasant service. Very accomodating. I chose an option I've not had before and I really enjoyed it. Food very good & served piping hot. Would definitely return.

One of the best curries myself and my wife have had for years.Wish we could get a curry of this quality from where we live in Bradford. Only thing I would say slightly negative is my chips were missing off my order, but other than that amazing experience thank you.

Had two takeaways this week whilst on holiday in Heysham. It's the best Vindaloo I've tasted in ages. Staff were very friendly and efficient.

We went yesterday for the Sunday buffet. Not been for a few months. I think yesterday was the best food ever. The best thing is the food isn't over spicy. The service is spot on and they never rush you. It seats around 35 people but just myself and hubby were there. So nice and quiet. It was a choice between here and pizza Hut. No competition really.

Great tasting food and great friendly service. Nice and relaxed atmosphere so you don’t feel rushed between courses like in other restaurants.

waited over two hours for food that was cold, tasteless and watery. paid £9 for a lamb biryani that had about four pieces of lamb. naan bread was cold. delivery driver was excellent, gave me five free poppadoms......but i don't like poppadoms. would not have minded waiting over two hours for food that was hot and tasty. will never ever ever order from you again.

Placed an order for collection tonight and when we got there the waiter was just plain rude from the start, talking across the restaurant to us and getting our attention by simply pointing at us and saying “you!” got our order and got half way home before realising half the order was missing, went back and tried to explain the situation to him to which he waved the written order in our faces, telling us we were the ones that were wrong! When I tried to say it must’ve been a mistake when taking the order over the phone he repeatedly shouted “no” in our faces and over the top of what we were calmly(!!!) trying to explain. Rudest waiter and person in general that I have EVER met! Do yourself a favour and go to Saffron’s instead! staff are always friendly and helpful

Had a very disappointing first visit tonight, we placed a telephone order and was instructed to collect at 7pm, we arrived on time and after being ignored we finally tried to pay inbetween the member of staff chatting to customers, the food finally arrived with us bagged up at 740 which wasn't really good as we were offered no apology after the wait So we got home to disappointingly find we had no chappaties which were 1 pound each and the 6.95 mix starter was absolutely shocking 1 small chicken piece, 1 lamb piece a small bhaji and a mini samosa, anyway we began eating the curry to then find a large bone in the chicken makhani, this was the last straw, my partner Andy then called the manager who was un helpful as he didnt know what a bone was and was unhelpful regarding the chappaties and offered no resolution to the 30 pound meal disaster, so so disappointed

They got our order massively wrong, we was sat eating in the restaurant. They gave us attitude as if it was our fault they messed up. I would strongly advise that you give this place a wide birth

Absolutely shocking!!!! Got bored of waiting to actually get served after half hour of waiting, so deicded to leave with 3 bored and hungry kids. And was then charged £10 for 4 cokes!!!!

For consistently excellent food and good service from friendly staff, brilliant. Our favourite of all time - and that's from someone who lived in Bangladesh!!!!

Two of the best curries I've ever eaten, seriously amazing flavors. Will be back for sure!!!
