Excellent attentive service with happy staff my husband and I had roast pork with seasonal vegetables,kale, roast potatoes with rosemary, cauliflower cheese,gravy all cooked to perfection.

Lovely pub with great menu. Food has flair and creativity while being traditional. Come here for the Sunday roast and cauliflower cheese. Very attentive service. Historic location and cosy atmosphere.

Not only was the Sunday lunch amazing but the lovely staff found us a laptop so we could watch the Wimbledon men’s final at the same time. A magical, mystical, magnificent evening (and new men’s champion) 😃

Always warm welcoming pub whose menu has been a god but could be a bit or miss over the years but seems to have found its feet again.
