Lovely pub with great menu. Food has flair and creativity while being traditional. Come here for the Sunday roast and cauliflower cheese. Very attentive service. Historic location and cosy atmosphere.

Excellent attentive service with happy staff my husband and I had roast pork with seasonal vegetables,kale, roast potatoes with rosemary, cauliflower cheese,gravy all cooked to perfection.

Our first visit to a pub since lockdown eased for a proper meal and I wasn't disappointed.
The service was excellent, as was the food and the staff very friendly. The bubble and squeak starter with perfect poached egg on top, beautiful and the beer battered cod, yummy.

It has become my go to even if its just for a drink.... today I had a starter which was the bubble and squeak...omg 🤤🤤🤤🤤 waiter pimped it out with some grilled chicken I mean yum...
Service can be a bit slow but probably cos of restrictions but it's worth the yummy goodness.

Not only was the Sunday lunch amazing but the lovely staff found us a laptop so we could watch the Wimbledon men’s final at the same time. A magical, mystical, magnificent evening (and new men’s champion) 😃
Lovely food. Not cheap but so worth the money as food was lovely, more than just your run of the mill pub food. A great experience. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable.

This is a lovely pub, serving up really good food with lovely wine and ales. The waiting staff were all really friendly and all food and drink was received really promptly. Nothing to be improved upon!
