The prices are extremely cheap for takeaways these days. came in after a gcse kinda stressed you know how it goes but the guy behind the counter was very nice and kind and helped remove a level of stress the food was delicious and I would happily return to eat here again. Woth mentioning I spent 5.70 and I got 6 wings, chips and a drink which is extremely cheap for this day and age with inflation an everything and to revoke some other replies the place is clean, they DO wear gloves and they do not touch beards or anything while doing and making orders

Wow, finally found a takeaway who really know how to cook top quality fish and chips, ordered a big portion and it’s enough for two and both fish and the chips cooked perfectly. Good value as well.

This is a long overdue review. I've been to Cod and Fry about five times over the past year and it's always been excellent.
I usually get fish and chips for me and my dad. He is a tough crowd when it comes to his food but he looooves the generous portions, crispy batter, succulent fish and first class chips, as do I.
I can't comment on the delivery service because my dad lives nearby so I always order and collect in the shop. The food is cooked to order so is always fresh and hot when unwrapped.
Last Saturday I changed my order, having read the reviews here. I can confirm the Masala Fish is amazing. With its slightly spicy coating, fresh salad and garlic sauce, it really is a taste sensation.
The chap who serves me is always friendly and sometimes singing, which is a rare treat too. 😊
My only suggestion for improvement would be the addition of mushy peas to the menu. Otherwise, it's great.

I ordered on Just Eat and phoned immediately and asked for it to be delivered quickly if possible. They said yes and it arrived within 15 minutes. Very impressive.
The chips were absolutely lovely. A proper traditional taste. Sausage was perfectly cooked. Not overdone like some other takeaways in High Wycombe. Curry sauce was thick and had proper curry flavour, not thin and watery.
Will definitely be ordering again.

Having moved to the area earlier this year I'm glad to have discovered this place as it's my go to place for fresh fish and chips each time.
When having guests over they have also been impressed by the quality especially the authentic masala fish!!

Fantastic cod and chips, freshly cooked whilst I waited and the overall value was phenomenal! The batter was crunchy and not very oily - perfect, would highly recommend for a fish supper!
