Knowle Country House

Thank you to Carrie and the whole team for making my father in laws wake such a fitting occasion. You allowed us to give him the perfect send off and went above and beyond to make the afternoon so special for his friends and family. Your team were so attentive from start to finish and nothing was too much trouble, the food was excellent. The venue is stunning and we’d love to hire it for another more joyful occasion one day. Thank you.

Wowie - where do we start? We had our dream wedding here on the 23/08/23 and it ran perfectly. From our first meeting with Mark, to our constant looking after from Kelly, to all the staff who delivered on the day, you have all exceeded yourselves. We had numerous activities throughout the day and lots of props/favours. To say the least, this could easily go wrong, but nothing was ever too much trouble for the Knowle Country House. The staff were amazing, checking in and making sure that we were happy with it all. Special thanks to Imogen and Vicky who coordinated the day, and they were the perfect people for us. They helped with our nerves and also any bits and bobs on the day itself, which you definitely need! The food was incredible 5*+++ Many of our guests have commented on how good the food was, and that desert trolley, was the cutest touch. We had our dream aisle, the runway style, the first I believe here and they made it feel super special. The gardens, the aesthetics, the grounds are amazing, you won’t be disappointed! We can’t thank the Knowle Country House enough for what they did on our special day, and we can’t wait to visit again for Xmas 🎄 maybe a little different weather to what we had haha. We had our wedding here on 22nd June and it was just the best day. The venue is amazingly beautiful, great photo opportunities and all our guests have commented on just how relaxed it all felt from start to finish. I have OCD and am an overthinker but all the incredible staff took care of everything so we could just relax and enjoy our day. The food was absolutely delicious too, an extremely hard to please guest actually said to me that he could not find fault so The Knowle deserve 10 stars for that alone. I'd like to especially thank Kerry, Kelly, Imogen and Vicky, all of whom were a pleasure to deal with and made sure everything ran so smoothly. I'd also like to thank the incredibly patient bar staff. I didn't get the names of the 2 left right at the end ordering taxis for those who had drunk far too much but from the bottom of my heart, thank you. If you are looking for a wedding venue, I'd highly recommend The Knowle.

We attended Knowle Country House for a family wedding yesterday - it was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC FROM BEGINNING TO END. The venue is a little gem hidden away in the Medway countryside. Now, here is why you should really choose this place if you are getting married - THE STAFF. They really turned it out. From beginning to end, there was nothing that was any trouble for them - the food was to die for and the bar prices are just normal and not inflated just to make a profit! .. Their resident DJ and master of ceremonies was brilliant leading the day so very well from the start of the ceremony to the end of the night and the music is piped across the venue so you can enjoy it wherever you are and not just on the dancefloor. They have an awesome outhouse with lovely sofas in it that you can just sit and chill in which I thought was a lovely touch. Overall I will give this place a 5 star review because they deserve it! Well done. If you are thinking of getting married, go and look at this place!

A perfect Valentine's meal with my wife. We arrived at 6pm, were greeted with a glass of prosecco, were led to a beautiful dining room and were made to feel welcome. Table decorations were lovely. The food was well-presented and tasty and we weren't expecting a cheese board after the dessert! The cheese board was a meal in itself. We did not leave feeling hungry. Arriving early meant we didn't have wait for our courses and staff were very helpful. We will be back and I don't feel the need to search for another venue next year!

As a wedding photographer I get to work here on a regular basis and get to see not just front of house, but behind the scenes as well. This is one of the friendliest venues I've ever worked at, not just my opinion but every couple we speak to. Lots of work goes into continually improving the house and gardens and it shows. The grounds are gorgeous and offer plenty of photo opportunities. Weddings on the day are run efficiently but with real warmth and friendliness. The food is always good and the desert trolly is a real crowd pleaser. If you're planning a wedding and looking for a venue you really need to come here and have a chat.
