Fantastic little café, decorated with style and panache giving a warm and welcoming experience. Menu simple, tasty and great value.
I had scrambled eggs on toast and knew from the taste that they were using free range locally sourced products before I read it on the menu.
First class all round, well worth a visit.

A fantastic cafe. We had travelled from Kent for a funeral and phoned the day before to ask if we could reserve a table. It was like being welcomed by family. The staff were so lovely, the food delicious and they even gave my mother-in-law a piece of cake to take away, when they heard it was also her birthday. Fully recommend.

I have been using Barneys for a while now! Such a comfortable cafe, the owners, Claire and Dean a really lovely and very welcoming and friendly. The food is very good and no request is too much trouble, the coffee is good! So whatever you need, breakfast or lunch or just a coffee and slice of ( very very good homemade cake) pop in and give Barneys a try! Dogs are very welcome too! Just a note they don’t open at 7am!!

Favourite local of ours.
Good quality, well prepared food. Simple menu (but that is a good thing!).
Staff are absolutely lovely, always a smile and a warm wicks. Very clean and well presented, can't rate it highly enough.

This is a very pleasant cafe, nice atmosphere and helpful friendly staff.
The breakfast was nicely presented, generous packs of butter supplied for the toast.
We were able to swap an item , due to dietary issues.
The mug of tea was good value , and came with a biscuit.
Good attention to detail, an enjoyable breakfast.
