We spent two nights at "The Ship". We found the staff friendly and helpful. We arrived early and they had no problems accommodating our request to access our room. The room was large, the bed comfortable and quiet.
We wish to thank Sue for preparing some sandwiches for us for us to travel with as we had to leave before breakfast. Thanks also for arranging a ride up to Highley so we could catch our bus. Great to see Robindons Cider on tap. A most enjoyable stay. Thank you.

Hope this pub returns to it's best. Its always been somewhere to sit relax and enjoy a fab meal. With beautiful views and good service. Had a drink there today. Toilets are beautiful. It was busy with plenty of customers. Great for visitors when travelling on the SVR as the station is right by it.

Stayed for 5 nights, the breakfast and evening meals were excellent as was the Butty Bach real ale on tap 😋. Entertainment was also great. Stayed bed and breakfast but ate there every night. Excellent.

The staff here are so lovely, food always brilliant, will be better once work is all finished. Shame you can't take dogsin restaurant anymore, even though carpeted throughout dogs are only now allowed in bar area. Great place will be back thank you

Excellent meal . Good hearty pub fare. Served piping hot and the best chips I've ever had! Good service despite being 2 staff down. Not the prettiest pub as currently undergoing renovation, but we'll definitely be back as really good food for a reasonable price.

Absolutely gorgeous food! Very friendly staff - genuinely couldn't do enough for us! Currently undergoing renovation work but this did not detract from the excellent dinner we had. Yes, the toilets are currently portaloo's but they are by far the poshest portaloo's I have ever come across!!! Highly recommend!!!!
