This restaurant is unfortunately not in the best location for foot traffic but I would recommend going for the food and service. The gentle man, who I assume owns it, greets, seats, serves and is the Jack of all trades. He’s very professional, kind and attentive. The food is traditional and comes in beautiful serving bowls. Full of flavour and spice! Don’t let the quiet or simple decoration stop you from trying this place!

The food was excellent and the staff member was very friendly, I can’t fault the service or the food. Bit of a weird atmosphere as the place was almost empty when we were there (one other table occupied), and the decor is very dated with an obvious damp smell. That being said, the restaurant was clean and food was served quickly. I’d probably go back for takeaway but not for another dine in experience.

Thought I’d add a review albeit 3 years late, my girlfriend just reminded me of one of our first dates which was here! The place almost feels stuck in time which is actually fantastic , the food was brilliant and we actually really enjoyed the evening. The waiter/cashier (could also be the chef) was a really pleasant and friendly bloke. We’re actually planning on revisiting when we get a chance!

A very strange place... There was only one host/waiter on both occasions I went here. He doesn't speak English very well, but he understood everything we said to him with no misunderstandings. The restaurant itself feels like it was converted from a warehouse space, bit the decor was alright. There was a distinctive smell both times I came here, like wallpaper that has outlived its purpose. Make sure to wrap up warm before you come here, since it it quite cold. The food came relatively quickly and was obviously made to order. The chicken pakoras were probably the best I have ever had, and the chicken pasanda was also amazing. The portions were not amazing, but they filled us up alright I would thoroughly recommend you stay and try the food at this place and not get put off by the smell or the lack of people!
