This restaurant is unfortunately not in the best location for foot traffic but I would recommend going for the food and service. The gentle man, who I assume owns it, greets, seats, serves and is the Jack of all trades. He’s very professional, kind and attentive. The food is traditional and comes in beautiful serving bowls. Full of flavour and spice! Don’t let the quiet or simple decoration stop you from trying this place!
Fantastic variety of lovely Indian cuisine. Friendly and polite service. We were greeted on arrival and seated in the spacious reception area. We were escorted to our table and offered poppadoms and dips while waiting on our starters. After well presented and tasty starters. We had our main meals. I was delighted with my choose the chef's special Punjabi mix. Lovely evening in nice surroundings. Parking is on site up a lane away from the town centre. If you enjoy good food and great service in quiet surroundings this is a great place.
Most reviews say about the dated decor, please don't let that put you off as the food is amazing. From the chicken pakora starter which was the best I've tasted, to the chicken Madras...... The meat was so tender and spices were perfect. I would highly recommend.
The food was excellent and the staff member was very friendly, I can’t fault the service or the food. Bit of a weird atmosphere as the place was almost empty when we were there (one other table occupied), and the decor is very dated with an obvious damp smell. That being said, the restaurant was clean and food was served quickly. I’d probably go back for takeaway but not for another dine in experience.
Thought I’d add a review albeit 3 years late, my girlfriend just reminded me of one of our first dates which was here!
The place almost feels stuck in time which is actually fantastic , the food was brilliant and we actually really enjoyed the evening.
The waiter/cashier (could also be the chef) was a really pleasant and friendly bloke.
We’re actually planning on revisiting when we get a chance!

A very strange place...
There was only one host/waiter on both occasions I went here.
He doesn't speak English very well, but he understood everything we said to him with no misunderstandings.
The restaurant itself feels like it was converted from a warehouse space, bit the decor was alright.
There was a distinctive smell both times I came here, like wallpaper that has outlived its purpose.
Make sure to wrap up warm before you come here, since it it quite cold.
The food came relatively quickly and was obviously made to order.
The chicken pakoras were probably the best I have ever had, and the chicken pasanda was also amazing.
The portions were not amazing, but they filled us up alright
I would thoroughly recommend you stay and try the food at this place and not get put off by the smell or the lack of people!
Delish! Loved my feast of fresh flavours. Whoever wrote they could taste washing up liquid in their Korma doesn't know their dish soaps from their fresh coriander, fennel seed and ginger. Couldn't fault it. Music was good. Service was excellent.
This place was a hidden gem, Me and My boyfriend came for dinner after a walk round Hillsborough and we really enjoyed the meal . The man was super friendly and could not help us enough. We will be back!👏🏼

Lovely food. Friendly staff. Very quiet place often empty but this is because it's in an area off the main rd. You wouldnt know it was there. The food is delicious hence we visit about twice a month !
So tonight my boyfriend and i tried revivals for the very first time. Honesly, ive never had food like it. It was absolutely gorgeous and the staff? Amazing, so polite and couldnt do enough. We have finally found a restaurant where both food and staff are 100%!! Defiantly be back!
Have dinned at many Indian restaurants but always come back here for the food. Definitely our preferred choice.
