Went for a meal last night with husband and friends and the food was so delicious. I never normally bother posting reviews but we enjoyed it so much I felt I should. Highly recommend.

Best pub I've been in in a long , long time. I'd recommend it to anyone travelling in this part of Down. Food was great , drink the same but the standout was the atmosphere and friendliness of the place . Credit to Seamus the owner and all his staff .

Such a great place for a meal and the staff are so accommodating. It's a great simple Irish bar that serves great food at a great price. But the staff are 2nd to no one. They adapted the menu brilliantly for my elderly mother and sensory daughter with no issues , in fact they were glad to help !!

Had a steak sandwich it more raw than medium. And it's divine.. sooo tasty, with onion rings, chips aren't bad.. would definitely recommend the steaks.

We came across this little gem after spending the day hiking in the Mournes. After devouring a beautiful pint of guinness, myself and herself realised we needed something to cure the creeping pangs of hunger we felt after the long hike.
I ordered the 10oz sirloin steak, while herself went for the steak sandwich option. It is safe to say that we weren't disappointed with our meals. The steak was tender and mouth watering and the sides were equally enjoyable.
The staff were attentive and followed covid protocols to a 'T'. We felt safe during the whole time that we were there.
We will definitely be back for seconds the next time we are in the vicinity!
