The Mandarin was amazing for Birthday meal for two Food was so very nice best we have had Staff were very polite and we were served our meal quickly Great surroundings and cool comfortable seating on a very hot evening We would recommend to family & friends

Great atmosphere, lovely food and reasonable price. The owner couldn't have been more welcoming and acomodating. I went back 2 days in a row.
Decided to eat out one Friday evening but hadn't booked a table anywhere. So took a walk the The Mandarin. So glad we did. Previously had used their takeaway service but never eaten there.
They weren't very busy, but even so the service and the food was excellent. Probably the best Chinese food I've eaten in a restaurant.
Would definitely recommend The Mandarin and will be taking another walk there soon.
Fantastic Food! Noodles were spot on, Salt and Chilli Chips were amazing and Chow Mein was exactly the right spice. Food was ready on time and service with a smile! Will be going back again soon 👍
We went on Valentine's night and chose the all you can eat buffet menu. There was a lot of choice and it's cooked to order. The food was lovely and the staff friendly and helpful. They helped when we asked about gluten free options for future visits with my daughter.... service was a little slow but overall it was lovely. We'll definitely go again.

Me and my partner made a last minute reservation for his birthday, and we had the best experience! It was nice and quiet when we came, which was to be expected for the Easter holidays. The decor was beautiful, a real eye for detail (the menus were gorgeous!). Being a vegetarian, I find it difficult to eat in places without having to scour the menus for the 'v' signs, but towards the back they have a whole section dedicated to us! The food was far from the normal greasy rubbish I'm used to having when I have Chinese food, it's very fresh and tasty, and wonderful for its price. The last but not least, the staff were very attentive, and the manager, James, made such an effort and really got involved in conversation, making it the best restaurant experience I've had by far. He made a point of saying "I would never allow any of the food prepared here to leave the kitchen if it wasn't something I was willing to put in my own mouth." which is something that I really can appreciate, for most food places tend to focus more on profit than good food. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a really pleasant experience with fantastic food.
Ate at the Mandarin last nights with friends. Had the aromatic Crispy Duck with pancakes, salt & chilli ribs, crispy chicken with plum sauce & sesame and the beef curry. It was amazing and so delicious. Top quality food and good service. Can’t wait to go back again.
Had takeout. Decent food, fast delivery. No complimentary fortune cookies or prawn crackers though.
Friendly restaurant with a large car park for people travelling from the surrounding villages. We decided to go for the special banquet which was a fixed price for cooked to order all you can eat food. This presented great value and food was of good quality. The service was attentive and despite a couple of hiccups with our order it was all swiftly resolved and apologies made and accepted. The choice on our specific menu was more than ample but they also offered set meals and Ala Carte style ordering to suite all budgets and requirements. The restaurant was clean and nicely lit and the atmosphere was ambient and relaxing. Thank you for having us!
Normally when I leave a review for a takeaway it's because it was bad but this was amazing, best chinese I've had in a long time everything was cooked and served perfectly and packaged nicely, Came 20 minutes and the delivery driver was very friendly!

Really nice meal！We had the All You Can Eat - cooked to order menu. Great choices, great value, great food and great service! My partner and I and ours friends fully enjoyed the evening. Definitely recommend the Mandarin to anyone wanting to have a quality Chinese meal. Best in the area!! 👍👍
