Bogey's On Main

Food was not bad. The fries were amazing. Beer was alright, could have been colder but not enough to complain about .. but the bartender, very short and rude. Seemed as if we were a inconvenience to her. (looks like a common issue, reading the reviews...) The owner was cooking and always came out of the kitchen with a smile. And don't use covid as an excuse for the bartender.

Do you find Tobies overrated and overpriced? Take a 5 minute detour and come here instead. The fries (both regular and sweet potato) alone are worth it! They have a small (but quality) selection of craft beer as well. We still had a 2.5 hour drive to the North Shore ahead of us so we’re unable to indulge ourselves. But we’ll definitely be back on our next trip!

Looking for a great lunch in Hinckley, MN and want to skip the crowds? Stop by Bogey's on Main in downtown. Super little bar with great food! Service was great, music was playing and it is a great atmosphere. We ordered the chicken and veggies potstickers which are deep fried and amazing. Also ordered something called "Tater Kegs". These little gems are a tator tot filed with sour cream, chives, bacon...its like a loaded baked potato in tot form. Super good. Also ordered the bacon cheeseburger. Its a perfect, greasey burger just how you like em. I would definitely return here for lunch. Check it out. Do something different. Thanks to Bogey's. Great experience.

Food was good enough, which is the only reason for 2 stars. Cheese curds were not the business. Service was HORRIBLE...totally not expected for small town Minnesota! Server dang near slammed down the caddy with napkins in it, simply because we asked for napkins and the caddy that was on our table was empty. She didn't greet us or thank us. Sadly disappointed.

Asked the men in my group their beer order and walked away before I could order my beer as the female in the party.Then has a sign in the bar for Miller High Life...but they don't actually have it. The rude waitress didn't even stay long enough to let me order something else. Obviously thinks men are better customers. Very disappointing because it appears to be a hole in wall neighborhood gem Could just be this waitress. She likely doesn't even know she's being rude to women...subconscious sexism.

Wandering my home state of MN and wanted to support a small, off the beaten path business. Final Score was re-opened August 1st under new ownership and new name. ‘Bogey’s on Main’ The new owner is very pleasant but has no clue what he is doing. NONE whatsoever. God bless his sweet demeanor. Ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich and fries. Sandwich was a frozen breaded chicken patty on a toasted bun. No lettuce, tomatoes or onions available. There is no hard liquor here. Just some random tap beer. And warm-ish pop in a can. Took 35min to warm up a patty. No silverware. No napkins. I sure hope this nice gentleman gets his stuff together and succeeds. Guessing the state BS isn’t making anything easier right now either their bogus mandates.
