When we turned up, clean and well presented table. Lovely staff welcomed us and showed us to the table. Food ordering was easy and all arrived together.
Food was lovely and well cooked.
Bonus of karaoke in the bar after we finished too.

Very friendly and clean I popped in during a dog walk just me and 1 dog and I was made to feel very welcome the bar staff were nice the only downside was they were emptying the fruit machines at the time and it's quite noisy but that was just unfortunate timing on my behalf as I know that it needs to be done at some point.

We celebrated my parent's 59th wedding anniversary. We had booked a table which was ready for us on arrival. There was a bit of a wait for food but not too long. We all enjoyed our food and would go again.

Our visit to the flintlock was lovely! We were there to watch a rugby match and I had called in advance to book a table. The lady I spoke to on the phone was very friendly and helpful.
When we walked in and spoke to the lady behind the bar, she knew exactly who I was and showed us where we would be seated and checked if we were happy with the seating. Our table was placed right between the 2 TVs so we always had a good view of the game. The atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable.
The only reason I am giving 4 stars is due to the food.
We ordered the 80oz rump with a beef dripping and Merlot.
The plates the food were served on were quite hot, unfortunately the food itself was about room temperature and the Beef Dripping and Merlot sauce was not very flavourful. Despite these factors, the rest of the food was still tasty.

We visited on a sunny weekend afternoon to enjoy the garden as we had heard about the great kids play area and large garden. The pub was very clean, everyone that served us during our visit was great, the drinks were very reasonably priced, the kids loved the corn on the cob and our steaks were perfectly cooked. We will be back with the family again soon.

Beer was cheap and they do reasonable pub grub at good prices. Pipes needed cleaning as a new cask tasted a bit too tangy. Pedigree and Hobgoblin on tap.

We eat in lots of pubs in Hinckley but have found the Flintlock to do not only a TASTY but well cooked Steak (surf and turf) all the meals were great, thank you to the kitchen staff (Cheskie) also the bar staff who friendly and very helpful - Rachel, Stu, Nic. Well done and thank you all.

It was a great time as it was my partner’s birthday the food was delicious and we were told that there would be a bit of a wait with there only being one chef on but we didn’t even notice how long we were waiting. Would definitely go back.
