Went in for a late lunch around 13:30 with some family. It was quiet but had a nice relaxed and friendly atmosphere, nothing was too much trouble. George is a fantastic host, friendly, knowledgeable and had a great rapport with his customers. I had a NewRustica Fable Shiitake 'Shroom pizza and can honestly say it's the best pizza I've had for years. I would certainly recommend without hesitation and next time I'm in Hitchin I'll be going back. Thanks 👍

Another lovely meal at the Hitchin restaurant. Staff were all very attentive. We didn't feel at all rushed and enjoyed three courses including recommendations from the waiting staff. Will definitely visit again. A lovely way to celebrate a birthday 🎂

Me and my partner went for lunch one Sunday, the service was quick and friendly apart from one lad who passed us the dessert menu and just seemed to mumble when he spoke about a dessert wasn't available.
