Hitchin Costa is nice but could do with some more comfy chairs . Love the new Cortado, think I'm addicted to them lol

Huge respect to the staff here that put in a lot of physical effort to make coffee all day, always cleaning up after people, only to deal with karens like the ones below on a daily basis that go on a power trip and make a scene over assumptions just because they are not happy with themselves.

Whenever i go to Hitchin and if not to busy I like to pop into Costa for a flat white and sometimes a pastry. They still make best flat white I asked for extra hot and frothy it was. Even when very busy staff have always been polite I cannot fault the customer service so thank you guys see you very soon👍🙂

Was here on Saturday 6th. Lunch time. A very busy time of day I’m guessing. Staff politely asked me to stick to the social distancing stickers on the floor (which I happily did) staff are friendly and happy and got served very quickly and professionally. A young lady was guiding people into the shop and was very helpful! Please pass on my gratitude towards the team that was on shift that day and I will visit again to get that same great service and small slice of normality

Fantastic little coffee shop in Hitchin, the large coffee is so big, the cup has two handles. Good strong flavours too.

The friendliest staff who always put a smile on my face in the mornings, coffee is always brilliant quality and the pastries & cakes are fab! A big thank you to all of the staff for their amazing customer service even during their busy periods as my orders are always ready in a flash and served with a smile :) The team deserve more praise than they receive from these reviews!

Came here today. Store was rammed pack with customers and only 2 staff members (was short staffed according to staff member on till) Every table was taken but chose to takeaway. Was served quickly and efficiently by a staff member who was happy and cheerful (great at upselling) coffee was extra hot, as I asked it to be. Team were helpful with all customers despite being so busy. Great communication between them and running around like mad!! Store is slightly dated but that doesn’t affect the taste of the coffee (like some of the comments I’ve seen about the decor 👀) Please pass praise onto the team that was working that day! Very happy with service, will be coming back again

Although this Costa gets busy,especially around lunchtime, they do have the staff to get the queue down quick! Unless they are training! Always nice to have a coffee here but I feel more attention to whoever they employ to clean the toilets..Ive been going to this Costa for Years and fed up of clammy wet floors and dirty seats..under the seat and around...we all know toilets are a school for bugs..but especially in a place serving foods/drinks and the staff use it too?
