Nelsons Fish And Chips

One of the best chippy’s I’ve had. I’ve travelled around the UK for the last few years with work, I’ve tried lots of chippy’s and this falls at number 2 on my list. I will come back to get more if i’m down there and ill try the fish next time. The chips were perfect. a nice crisp crunch on the outside and soft on the inside and the perfect taste. Staff were friendly, place was very clean. Keep it up 👍😄

It was my first time at the Chippy! And what can I say: *ITS FAR BETTER THAN ANY CHIPPY WITHIN Birmingham/Solihull area* The owner seems very happy, genuine, and open for a good conversation. The professionalism and manners given by mostly teenage looking staff were unbelievably polite and excellent in service quality 👌🏻 👏🏻 The Fish and Chips, despite my only gripe being a bit overpriced. Was utterly delicious and on par of taste you get at fish and chippy stores near our nations coastline. Delicious and good quality in food stock! 😋 👌🏻 Plus, this is the first takeaway store I had visited with not a single non white minority employee in sight. *You don't get that anywhere in this country nowadays!* Plus, I believe that unique contribution despite the owner (for legal cover reasons) disagreeing with me on this. Is the sole reason why this Chippy is the best in Birmingham/Solihull area. Plus, they prove you don't need foreign Muslim men to make high quality Kebabs and Indian men too make high-quality curry sauce! Definitely will come here again!!

Very friendly staff took my order as soon as I walked in placed order on self for cook just like in a restaurant, said it would be about 4 minutes other people's orders being served, Cod and chips fish was beautiful with crispy batter with good portion of chunky chips. First class will definitely go again and fully recommend.

My go to Fish and chips shop. It’s so good, it’s always on my agenda as a treat when I drive up to the Midlands from my home in London. Consistently great quality and great friendly service from all the staff. Update Visiting after a few months and same quality and same friendly staff. Eating al fresco in the park on a warm spring day - unbeatable 😀
