Excellent customer service. I love it the waitress, only come when we need it and she done what needs to be done. Amazing service. The food was lovely. I love the amount of dips was on the Nachos more than others places. Good speed of service and the desserts was good. Definitely we will be back soon Highly recommended

First time at the Sun and wow service was excellent even though they were busy, instantly got a table on a Saturday night and was greeted by a welcoming member of staff. We ordered 1x cod and chips, the beer batter was crisp and dry with succulent cod, chips cooked to perfection along with perfectly seasoned mushy peas. 1 x classic cheese burger with fries and house slaw, homemade burger was tasty and good quality, fresh bun and cheese. 1 x hunters chicken, chicken was moist, perfect fries and tasty house slaw. All portions were good sizes and presented lovely. Good selection of craft beers and drinks available. Service was second to none, from happy, helpful and professional staff. Good choice of vegetarian options. Disabled access available. If you get the opportunity definitely give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

We visited here as a group of seven for a birthday meal. The pub was buzzing with diners and casual drinkers, a nice atmosphere. We was warmly welcomed and shown to our table. From there onwards the service was excellent and the staff were all so friendly and well versed in customer care! The food was all lovely with no complaints from any of us, everything was well presented and tasted great. We all agreed afterwards that we will definitely be returning to this pub. Highly recommended!

Lovely place and lovely staff...like really lovely staff. I ordered the vegetable curry, some of the potato was cold and some of the potato was hot so that was fun I also really dislike packet rice If I knew it was going to be packet rice I wouldn't of ordered it. My partner however really enjoyed his meal so it must just be what I ordered. I'll definitely give this place another go as its such a lovely pub but I think I'll go for a pub classic next time.

Amazing Golden Anniversary lunch in the lovely function room at The Sun last Sunday. Jasmine, the manager, provided an exceptional service from start to finish - her communication throughout the booking process was superb and she went out of her way to ensure everything was perfect, helping us organise balloons, a toast, cake and a photo slideshow. She greeted us upon arrival and even checked when we would like the kids' meals brought out so that the younger children were fed at the right time. All the staff were friendly and helpful and we were really impressed with the efficient way the food was brought out. The room itself was beautiful and there was lots of space for the children to move around. The food was great value, too. The whole experience was just perfect.

Me and my partner and my 1 year old daughter loved it here, I had mixed chicken grill, partner had 8oz sirloin steak and daughter had fish fingers chips and beans, we all thurolly enjoyed it, best cooked meat I've ever eaten !

Nice pub. Very clean and well decorated. Easy to find and easy parking. Food is good in quality and huge portions (see toad in the hole or rotisserie chicken)! Much better standards than your average pub grub and you won't leave hungry. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Nothing not to like. Recommended. Ps: you have to try the buffalo chicken wings - Awesome.

Was actually at a funeral. The food, both hot and cold was delicious. Bar staff friendly and welcoming. Seating outside was clean . Toilets were clean and tidy. Not a lot of parking, but side streets are only a short walk away.

Not local for me but we regularly visit locally and go to the sun as it offers easy parking a good venue to relax and enjoy tasty food and drinks. The menu is good sized and fairly priced and the food is tasty and nicely presented. They have an area you can hire which is regularly used for gatherings for special occasions which we have used in the past to good effect. The layout is nice with various sections and plenty of seating. When warm enough you can sit outside. Staff always nice. Well worth a visit.
