Location accommodation excellent meal quality and service needs to be improved. Also staff appearance needs to be looked into boys more so than the girls.Nice clean uniforms and they would look a whole lot better some were looking as though they have never seen an iron before.

Holme Lacy Hotel is a really beautiful place to stay for a short break. The gardens are Immaculate and tended so expertly by the knowledgeable and hard working on site gardeners. It is so peaceful as you are right in the countryside which makes it so relaxing. We stayed a couple of weeks ago and had lovely weather. We sat out on the patio with drinks and had the most gorgeous sandwich from the very lovely coffee shop, the view of the lake and gardens are so pretty. Evening drinks were also had on the patio watching the beautiful sunsets. The evening Entertainment was excellent as always. We really enjoyed the Resident Entertainers show. The daytime Dance classes taken by Lisa who is so lovely and hard working , she really cares about the guests and ensures they have as much fun as possible, she is an invaluable member of the team at Holme Lacy.

We were checked in as we approached the car park and given our parking space, the same number as our hotel room. A porter came to help take our bags to our room. The room was very large with a large modern bathroom. We met the G/N representative Gillian, who was very friendly, helpful and informative, this is an historic building, that has been well modernised by Warner Hotels. We ate our meals daily in 2 restaurants, one day in the Market Kitchen, self-service, the next, in the Brasserie, served. The food in the Brasserie was better with more selection. We would definitely recommend this adults only hotel.

Lovely place to stay, some of the staff (particularly Lisa) really make your stay. Lovely pool and excellent entertainment and activities. Only thing that let it down was some of the food (for the roasts the meat was tough but so were the roast potatoes), prawn cocktail had no flavour at all. If they could sort the food out it would be one of the best Warners

Stayed for 4 nights. Nice room. Food good with plenty of variety. Staff helpful and cheerful. Nice terrace bar to sit out on and have drinks as long as it's not raining. Some cover but not on every table. Entertainment was a bit repetitive but if you like dancing you will have enjoyed it.

Food very average, not much variety. No pancakes offered in any of 3 places we've visited. Service in MK restaurant very slow as under staffed. All other staff were gr8. Only 3 people in entertainment team. Beautiful building and surrounds.

There are two restaurants at Home Lacy, the Market Garden and the Brasserie 32. The Brasserie 32 is great for both service and food. But the Market Garden is under staffed and over subscribed. The staff mainly do their best, but the service is poor and the food is also poor. I had one evening meal there and two breakfasts. It is the sort of food and service I would expect in a two star hotel, not a four. Everything else about the hotel was very good except the allocated parking places for the old building are a bit small.

Lovely genuine old country estate house, unspoiled, great interior and many comfortable lounge rooms. Very good entertainment room with plenty of seating, the entertainment was fantastic one night, but truly awful the next night. The week only spoilt by the ignorant coach driver from P S Winson, really horrible person, he has issues with people

Our first time at a Warner Leisure Break hotel. Not disappointed! We received a very warm welcome from the staff and were happy with our room. The restaurants are very good value, we chose the buffet dinner option which was a good option. Breakfast was in a different restaurant and tasty too. The only down side is the attention to detail when attending to service at the table. There could be more personal attention here. We booked a Standard Room which did not include complimentary water which was also disappointing. Otherwise a great stay.

Recently went for 3 nights Friday to Monday to celebrate my birthday. We had an histoical suite which was amazing with a large bedroom with a four poster bed, large en-suite with bath and shower and a separate little sitting room with a 2nd tv, fridge, safe and tea/coffee facilities and complimentary drinks, snacks and toiletries. The house itself is gorgeous with lots of beautiful comfortable rooms to sit in but because the weather was so good my favourite place was the terrace with the gorgeous view of the grounds and lake. The facilities and evening entertainment were varied and good - especially the gin tasting afternoon! There are 2 main dining rooms for breakfast and evening meals. One is a buffet service with plenty of choice, we went there on the Friday night as the menu included curries and they were delicious. The rest of our meals we had in the larger restaurant with waiter service and although it's the same menu every night there was enough choice especially as there were extra specials on as well. All our food was served hot and was very tasty. We also had a delicious lunch too on the terrace. All the staff were very friendly and attentive and I could not fault anything. Can't wait to go back again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our break, however, we were disappointed with the menu in the Brasserie. There were limited choices to a menu that never changed all week, though the food was presented & cooked well, I would choose the other restaurant next time which gave more variation. Also I waited almost 2 hours on one occasion for a lunch I'd ordered. After making several enquiries of staff who assured me it would be arriving any minute, eventually it was discovered not to have been put on their system. This is the only reason I have given an overall 4 & not a 5 star. Generally the staff worked hard & were very friendly, the rooms were very good, the gardens spectacular & entertainment great. We'd definitely go again.

A beautiful former stately home with lovely grounds. Great service and really helpful friendly staff made our weekend stay perfect. Entertainment day and night was spot on. Would definitely recommend.

Well kept gardens, set in rural surroundings. Friendly staff. Modern bedroom accommodation blends in with majestic original country home. Variety of entertainment is appreciated by the wide interest of the guests. Logistics of feeding larger Groups mean Breakfast has to be early and Evening Meal is late.

Lovely hotel set in beautiful grounds. The room I had in the old house "historic room" was very nice but not spectacular. It had a lovely view of the gardens and the lake. The staff were brilliant. Very friendly, very attentive, very efficient. They have upped their game with vegan food options and the vegan meals I had were superb. It's an adult only hotel. The evening entertainment was quite good too. Lots of day time entertainment, was very good lots to do inside and out. Hereford City is nearby and worth a visit.

Very good Warners hotel with lovely grounds plenty of parking and helpful staff. The food was tasty but not the choice of other warners we have stayed in. Also the main resturant is smaller than the table service resturant so we had a set time to eat and leave to get the next customers in.

A family reunion of 4 couples. Parking very handy at this very large country hall hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are generally good, some decor issues with windows and french doors. Spotlessly clean throughout, with comfortable beds and good bathrooms. A welcome pack ,complimentary snacks, soft drinks and bottled water alongside the usual tea, coffee biscuits etc was a nice touch. On site there are lots of organised events and a talented entertainment team. Each evening there is a show. The food is very good, and there are several options for dining experiences, ranging from buffet, Asian and table service. We would definitely return to this beautiful, spacious old hall. Set in acres of grounds in Herefordshire. The city of Hereford is not far away and this hotel would make a very good base for touring.
