Been coming here since I was a child (30 years) and the food is always to the same high standards. Came here yesterday for a Sunday roast with a party of 9. Despite us just turning up, the staff were quick to juggle about some reserved tables to make space for us! Portions are huge but we all nearly cleared our plates. Always a favourite to come for a family occasion. Thanks as always for a lovely meal!

We called in at opening time (4.30) on Saturday for a meal with friends! Wow, we weren't disappointed! Lovely warm welcome, staff explained how to order food and drinks. We ordered starters and a main course with coffee and some ice cream to finish. They even checked that we wanted our child meal to come out with the starters! Great start! Food was divine! Great portion sizes and truly delish! It won't be our last visit! Highly recommend!

We come some distance to eat here as the food is fabulous and the service in our experience has always been first rate, well worth the travelling distance to enjoy well presented food.

Came for the Sunday roast carvery. Had read some reviews of small portions but these couldn’t have been more wrong. Huge huge meal, really nicely cooked meats (up to 3 choices and you can have 2 different meats), a lot of variety in the vegetables along with classic condiments. If you still have room after all that (we did, just) then there’s a range of tasty desserts on offer. We went for the trifle - a classic. Thanks to Richard and all the staff who were all excellent.

Very nice place to go for food and drinks. As soon as you walk in you get a nice warm feeling the temperature is just right the staff are very friendly and the food is great. The prices of the food is very good for the portion size. Would always recommended eating here.

Had a fantastic time in the Fox House. The meal was excellent, well cooked and tasty. We didn't have to wait long and the service was second to none. Catered for gluten free 😋

The chips were a bit naff but we were too full to eat them so it didn't matter. All in all an excellent meal and we will be going again.

I take my wife here when we're having a treat. Every time we have visited we have had great service & fabulous food. It's not cheap but you need to make sure you don't have anything to eat for a few hours before you go because the portions are huge. The precautions they have put in place because of covid19 put me totally at ease. From the cleaning regime, to the one way system that they have implemented, they appear to have got it spot on. Well done to all the staff & long may the Fox House continue to operate.
