I wanted to share my appreciation for the staff and service received at Byfords. Whenever I have visited (usually a Saturday) the service has been exceptional. I would specifically like to mention Finlay, he is so polite and attentive, and Leslie whom guides her team with such genuine care and expertise. I hope the business owners realise what an asset she is to the place. Thank you for always making visits feel so personal and special. No doubt see you very soon.

Stopped in there for afternoon tea and it did not disappoint! Lovely fresh scones which were warmed. We were offered extra jam and cream which is rare 😅 Staff were super friendly as well. Highly recommended 😊

We visited Byfords yesterday for an afternoon tea and it did not disappoint. All of the staff were warm and friendly from the start, particularly Lesley who made us feel at home straight away. The food was delicious and we had a great selection of sandwiches, cakes and scones. We will definitely return next time we visit!

Popped in for Saturday breakfast. Service was excellent and a smiling welcome from the staff. I chose the Byfords full English and at £14.75 its a tad expensive (at non-Passport price)! I was also disappointed not to receive black pudding with the breakfast and a very small sausage (although very tasty). Other than that, it was a lovely start to the day.

We came for breakfast and it didn’t disappoint. Huge portions I couldn’t manage and very yummy. Veggie breakfast was lush and so was the white mocha. It’s really nicely decorated I like the ribbons and flowers everywhere and the toilets were nice. Only thing is we asked for ketchup and water and I think waitress forgot and also food took a while to come out but it didn’t matter we all still really enjoyed ourselves

Lovely meal in a lovely restaurant, in a wonderful village. As you may have guessed, I really liked it. EV charger in the nearby car park was an added bonus

Enjoyed the Holt Sunday Market, then headed into Byfords for a great breakfast. You may have to get in line for a while, but tables turn over quickly. Varied menu with a choice of soups, hot and cold sandwiches, pizza, and of course breakfast, which comes with a choice of egg, toast, and hot beverage. Food is well cooked and presented nothing fancy. Prices are also reasonable. The only minor comment is that hot chocolate is served in a small cup rather than a mug. It's good to see leaf tea. We all enjoyed our meals.

We stayed here for a few days over February half term and loved it. We had a 2 bedroom suite - it was outside the main hotel on the ground floor so might not suit everybody but it was fine for us - 2 adults and 2 kids. The rooms were lovely with super comfy beds. The breakfast was amazing and the thing that made it for us was the staff - nothing was too much trouble and everything we wanted was included in breakfast. We’ve stayed in a few places where you have to pay extra for extra coffee or for kippers etc but not here. Everything and anything is included. The food is all great too. One day I fancied kippers and eggs - no problem; the kids fancied bacon butties with hash browns - again no problem. Hot chocolate for the kids, etc etc, all available at no extra cost. The free tea and cake voucher during our stay was a lovely touch too. We’d love to come and stay again. Oh - and make sure you use the Norfolk passport - it doesn’t cost anything to have one and you get a good discount!

We popped in for a quick bite to eat on Christmas Eve. Had the 'take-out' warmed Pulled pork sausage rolls and a flapjack for afters. They were lovely. Indeed we were so impressed we decided to return on Boxing Day for a full English Breakfast. This didn't disappoint either. Staff were lovely and the seating area was comfortable and clean.
