This is a gem of a place, there are pubs and there are pubs but this is one of the few remaining real pubs left.
It's small, seats around forty people comfortably, easy for one bar person to run, …
Working away from home in holyhead, we went in this lovely little bar. A really nice place with excellent staff and customers a great friendly atmosphere great beer. The locals were a great bunch and a credit to the area, thanks to all for a pleasant evening.

Well,The Skerries in Holyhead, the interior of the pub and possibly the front elevation are both listed, and the Guinness, well,at about £3.60 a pint, you cannot go wrong and it is always First Class, consequently very drinkable, possibly too much so sometimes!
This place apparently only caters to locals. Did not feel welcomed at all. Couldn’t even get a pint because the bartender said cash only. Hard to believe. Cruise passengers avoid this place. There are plenty more good pubs in the area …
Nipped in for a quick pint of Guinness before our train and wasn’t disappointed! Small drinkers pub with a good atmosphere. Worth a quick nip in!
1st class pint of Guinness!👌 Small, but friendly, traditional pub😀 …
