Overall brilliant experience. Really friendly staff and chef, you can see the cooking which is great. Very talented chef and amazing fresh flavoured food. Great atmosphere with live music.

We had a warm welcome at Up a Yard. I had the Jerk Wings and Duck Gyosas with Sirachua with a ginger beer with coconut and lime as I was the driver! All the food and dishes were piping hot. Two of the party had the chicken burger, 3 had the curried chicken. The gportions were good and all the food was enjoyed by all 8 of us. I would like to come back again and try some of the dishes I’ve never had before. So we will be back. Thank you

Absolutely loved our visit to up a yard this weekend! The food was superb- really packed with flavour and the spicing was just perfect. We have recently returned from our holiday in Jamaica and the food made us feel we were still there- totally authentic! The staff were fantastic- really attentive and helpful. The steel pan music also made us feel like we were on holiday - the whole package is brilliant! It is like a trip to Jamaica but in Holywell. Our whole table loved it and can see why this little place has won the best world food restaurant in Wales. Highly recommend!

This place was lovely 😍 the food was fantastic.. I would say that if you are eating here and your thinking of the Liddel bites.. they are quite small portions, but lots of flavour.. I would definitely recommend it..
They also have some live music in evenings. Try it.. I did And it gets 👍👍👍👍👍👍 .

Amazing food, first time eating Jamaican. Had the curried goat and jerk chicken. Great atmosphere and all the staff are lovely. Already booked again. Highly recommended.

Found this place by accident when looking for a quick bite to eat. Brilliant little place with fabulous food, friendly staff and a great atmosphere.
Would definitely recommend a visit… although asking for the jerk sauce on the side is a tip for those who like things a little less spicy!

I ate here with friends on the weekend and it didn’t disappoint! I had the Jamaican Jerk Chicken in Jerk Gravy with dumplings and it’s honestly one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten. So much amazing flavour! We had quite a few starters/sides between us too. The meat sharer was insane and the mac and cheese with waffles too. Will be back for more cocktails soon!

What a find! We shared the small dishes between us as wanted to try everything and it was delicious, all home cooked and fresh and new flavours. Cocktails yummy too!
They had a singer on which gave a wonderful vibe and all the staff were friendly 🙂

Amazing atmosphere very welcoming small restaurant but very busy, gorgeous food the vibe was amazing steel drum live music perfect volume aswell loud enough you couldn’t hear other tables conversations but you can still talk to each other, food is spicy which was perfect for other half, I will be trying some coolers next time. Fancy Cocktails and milkshakes and desserts are yummmmy! This will now be our regular date night spot

Absolutely amazing! Everything was unreal, so flavoursome and delicious, 3 of us had the jerk chicken, 1 the chicken burger and 1 the prawn curry and all the starters and dumplings were all so so tasty! The staff are all awesome too, mega friendly and smiley, it just made the whole experience such a great night! Thank you and we'll definitely be back and will be recommending to everyone!
