A must visit on a sunday for any of their sunday roasts, could do with having chicken on the menu, but other than that, the staff are always welcoming if youve booked a table or not, and as for the open log fire its a definate yes.

So glad we traveled further away from the chain pubs near the M25. This little gem was amazing! Great food and real ales (casque mark and Camra). Fantastic garden by a small river. Kids play area is small but kept kids busy while we waited.

Lovely Sunday lunch Good service, reasonably priced and choice of meats, beef chicken and lamb. beautiful setting went across the rd and walked along the stream. Must book as very popular 10/10

Good Covid19 protocols in place. Lovely pint of Timothy Taylor Landlord in the pretty waterside garden. Ideal lunch stop after a walk round the new SANG but we didnt eat here today. Someone has green fingers as all the pots & gardens are glorious.
