Great pint, lovely location , bubbling river. Food looks fab, but didn't have time to try. Will go back

Lovely proper public house, hasn't moved into the future e.g. no barista coffee machine, but lovely setting and warm friendly environment.

A lovely garden with a stream running through. The barmaid was absolutely lovely, so friendly. She pushed this review to 5 stars

A must visit on a sunday for any of their sunday roasts, could do with having chicken on the menu, but other than that, the staff are always welcoming if youve booked a table or not, and as for the open log fire its a definate yes.

Good family pub and food was very reasonable. Service excellent. Could do with an upgrade.

So glad we traveled further away from the chain pubs near the M25. This little gem was amazing! Great food and real ales (casque mark and Camra). Fantastic garden by a small river. Kids play area is small but kept kids busy while we waited.

Good Covid19 protocols in place. Lovely pint of Timothy Taylor Landlord in the pretty waterside garden. Ideal lunch stop after a walk round the new SANG but we didnt eat here today. Someone has green fingers as all the pots & gardens are glorious.
