Was a good location next to the station and we had a wedding nearby and was easy to arrange a taxi for. The hotel is very basic but the rooms are clean and have what you need. The place is just generally tired and the walls are very thin so we could hear someone coughing next door all night.
We had lunch which was very slow but was lovely food once it arrived and also breakfast which was lovely and this was much quicker.
Not sure I would stay here again but it was ideal for what we needed and good value for money compared to other places in the area.

Great place to stay, we stayed 1 night, had our dog with us, room in ground floor was a bit dated as was receprion , but had everthing we needed. Great shower plenty of hot water,comfy bed, fantastic breakfast served in the restaurant/ bar, we also had an evening meal there, staff were lovely and attentive especially Calum.

Kind and tentative waitress to start, she must have gone on break or finished for the day because after she served us no one checked on us and we needed to flag someone down to pay the bill. Beautiful front to the building. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant area we sat at helped by some beautiful sunshine.

Stayed here with friends. Lovely friendly pub with a great atmosphere. Food lovely, friendly staff. Rooms cleaned daily. Lots of choice for breakfast, and the chef cooked me perfect poached eggs!

Really nice rooms and comfy beds. The food is great and the drinks are very reasonable, under £5 a pint. Breakfast is really good too. Bar staff are very friendly. Can't fault the raven at all.

Booked 2 rooms for the family for 1 night. Good location, easy parking. Lots of hot water and rooms warm. Staff were very helpful and a great curry restaurant opposit. Great, friendly atmosphere in the pub.

The bar staff are extremely welcoming, efficient and friendly. I often use this bar as my local, great atmosphere and the clientele is generally of a good standard which makes for a very pleasurable visit. The one downside are the male toilets ( I cannot say about the female toilets!) They are not checked and are filthy with the floor often flooded.
