The Nook Eating House - Hook - Photo album

Fantastic place with excellent food and lovely hosts. Dog friendly and in just an absolutely beautiful location. Perfect for sitting outside with a drink and some food watching the world go by!
As always, the food and service were fabulous. This is our go-to place for special occasions. We had the taster menu, and it didn't disappoint every option was lovely. Melon with feta, cranberries, and pine nuts was delicious. Baked salmon with vegetables, a delight, and the bread and butter puddin
I haven't been to the Nook', except to have a breakfast and a cup of coffee outside some years ago. I think I may have received this invitation to comment as I spent some time on the grass common, capturing the building in watercolour.
Come on, special menu, bangers and mash, french onion gravy, medley of vegetables, with a pint of real ale, perfect venue, perfect food, good value
Wednesday 4 course meal for £25 was certainly good value. Really good portions and nicely cooked snd presented. Serving staff looked as if they liked working there. Seeing two large labradors was a bit of a surprise. We'll behaved but in a small restaurant ?
The second time for breakfast...Had the Nook big breakfast...granddaughter the veggie option..the littleun had the child's...excellent value, well cooked...plenty of choice can substitute (very useful) so engrossed with the food forgot to take photos ..will have to go back ....any excuse!!
From start to finish it's a taste experience. We were lucky enough to get a table at this small restaurant on a busy Friday evening. We were offered drinks as we looked through the menu. There were approx 5-6 starters and equally as many main courses to choose from. On a Friday and Saturday nigh
Nice wee place and the staff were realy friendly. Dog friendly too so has to be 5 stars
Went to a French night. Food was very well presented and full of flavour. Each course had wine which complemented the food very nicely.
We always enjoy our visit to the Nook. Lovely food freshly cooked which isn't over-priced (compared to some of the local pub food prices atm). Staff are excellent and the atmosphere can be great when it is busy. Well worth a visit.
