Bok Bok

We've just had a Thai green chicken curry and a penang chicken curry. Both very tasty and well priced in my opinion. Owners very welcoming on arrival. I would highly recommend. Ignore the negative reviews. We will definitely be ordering from Tuk Tuk Thai again. Thank you.

I can only apologise for the delay in writing this review. My partner and I visited a couple of months ago when staying locally. We loved it so much on the first night that we went back the next day. We have since been a few weeks ago when we were in Huddersfield. They have a Thai Chef and an open kitchen. Their front of house staff are awesome, especially Tom who I believe owns the place. The last time my partner and I went, they had not quite opened for the evening but as Tom saw us passing, he came out and gave us an incredibly warm welcome and even the Chef remembered us! It felt like we were visiting old friends. I went to Thailand last year and can tell you the food from here just does not get more authentic. So much so that the first time I dined there, I had tears in my eyes as the amazing flavours, sights and smells took me right back to Thailand. It is located on an industrial estate but please do not let that put you off as if you are anywhere in Horbury and follow your nose, it will take you straight to this humble place. My partner lives in Liverpool and I live in Manchester. Both of us will travel to go there for a meal without hesitation. It really upsets me to see the negative reviews and they are undeserved. Yes, we all have bad days but never have I come across such an amazing place like this. It is a take away but you can dine in its wonderful surroundings and enjoy the atmosphere. We will be returning time and time again. A huge thank you to everyone who works there. Keep up the good work.

Well that was easy, ordered delivered and eaten within an hour. The chap who answered the phone was super friendly and helpful, the delivery man was very pleasant and the food was lovely. I asked for vegan options and was very happy at how easy it was to get a lovely dinner put together for us, thank you.

We had a Bok Bok menu pushed through the letter box and thought we’d give it a go, especially as they deliver. We ordered starters and mains, with drinks. I absolutely love Penang curry but have had some dodgy ones from Chinese takeaways which say they ‘do Thai’. Well Bok Bok’s was amazing - a proper Penang bursting with flavor (if a little on the spicy side for me). We also had a green curry and a Massaman curry, both were lovely, but the Massaman was outstanding! It may surpass a Penang for complete flavoursome amazingness. Delivered quickly and piping hot - great service all round. Definitely our favourite takeaway now.

Definitely worth the half hour drive from pontefract! Lovely food good prices and lovely staff! Tried for the first time as our usual Thai was closed but will not be going anywhere else! A hidden little gem!
