I’d give it a 1 for our first takeaway with Blue Lake Horley.
Egg fried rice doesn’t have an ‘egg’ to be honest.
I can only see 3 few small bits of scrambled egg pieces.
P.S. Other Chinese takeaways near Horley have impressive egg fried rice.

I have ordered rice with vegetables and meat, specials!
When I have to drive to the place to change food for something actually contain more than peace and few peaces of meat I have been told to never come back by very rude waiter.

I made a booking today 25-05-2022 for 6 pm
I realised I was going to turn up early so I called the restaurant and said can I come at 5:30 pm
I had my work clothes on as I have just finished work
To my astonishment they told me and my partner we did not make a booking when I told him I spoke to him two minutes beforehand they denied this
I can safely say this is the worst experience I have ever had
I’ve had food before from here which wasn’t nothing special but I was willing to give it a second chance as it is the only Chinese sit down restaurant
In horley my partner really wanted to have a sit down Chinese
Furthermore I recorded this on video as I was so astonished With their behaviour I told her I was recording it to put it on social media Facebook Nextdore website and other social media platforms she said was I threatening her extremely extremely bad attitude please do not waste your time do not visit this restaurant I wouldn’t wish this experience on my worst enemy
I appreciate I had my work clothes on I just finish work but it’s a Wednesday evening there was nobody in the restaurant I didn’t realise they had a dress code very disappointing I will never return again

Have just been to the restaurant and have just had a lovely meal, everything was lovely and hot and tasty. The staff were pleasant and very helpful. Well worth a visit.

Surprisingly good. Food was excellent, better than the exterior or decor indicated. Ideal if you're staying at one of the Gatwick hotels and don't want to pay for over-priced food. Only a 5 minute drive with easy parking, comprehensive menu and reasonable prices.

The best Chinese around. Fantastic food, fast service, friendly staff and amazing value. At least 25% cheaper than anything we have had from Dorking /Reigate. Blue Lake will now be our regular and we’ll be back v soon
