First visit there and we were very pleased.
George looked after us and he is amazing, made us feel so welcome. He is a keeper 😊

Food was good. Toilets were clean. The pub has clearly had a super refurbishment but the weather had changed and it was really cold so missed that cosy warm feel. The chap at the bar seemed to be on his own so service was a little lacking but a nice friendly chap.

The food was so delicious!! We were staying at the holiday inn and walked here (about 20 minutes). The sidewalks are paved and are OK (walking along speedy highway). The decor of the restaurant was really cool and it felt like it had a quaint charm. We got the banger and mates and the fish and chips. The mash potatoes were SO good. We also ordered veggies on the side which was delicious. Highly recommend if you're in the area! Glad we stopped by here.

Great spot to watch the England football and rugby games with mates, friendly staff and good food! Would definitely visit again!

Staff are always friendly and welcoming, always appreciate the atmosphere that they generate here.
It's not the biggest of bars, but there's a combination of booths, high and normal tables, and with the short bar, not an issue with getting attention or being served.
Nice to see the place in use, and a good little local.

Our server George was spot on, very polite and very helpful, sorry George's boss, but I think he is wasted there. He needs to move on somewhere a bit more classy, even up town, I think he will do well.
