This pub is a little treasure. The atmosphere is so iconic of how I emagined an English pub to be.... you know... Charles Dickens. Food is soooo tasty and well priced, compared to what we experienced in London.

Busy, friendly sports bar in the middle of town.We ordered five small plates of food from the menu,ideal for sharing and delicious. Reasonably good value, great atmosphere, would definitely recommend 🙂

This is a pub you want to enjoy in England. Beer... I had a great one on tap. The atmosphere was calm, not American, which we enjoyed because USA is whatweknow.. Had a rough day and this was a nice relaxing place to enjoy our first night in England and remind us we were on vacation.

We visited on Sunday and enjoyed Foresters' Sunday Roast. The portions were generous, more than what we could finish in one sitting. It was seat yourself and we placed our order at the bar with our table number.
