Stayed 4 nights. Didn't take breakfast. We were warned about Friday live group. All good except on day the room was not serviced. Had to find a manager and get towels, tissues etc. Apart from that all good.

We stayed for a few days in this Hotel, the staff very friendly and professional. Hotel aged but renovated, clean and without any problems. We used the hotel restaurant. The dishes tasty and very quickly and efficiently served, even though there were a lot of people. We took advantage of the offer to combine dishes which was very cost effective. It is also a traditional pub with a very large selection of delicious beer. We also took advantage of the breakfasts, I recommend the waffles were delicious. Overall, I recommend the hotel as well as the restaurant.

The service at this pub is always efficient even when busy, which is exactly what one wants. The beer is kept well and always offers a variety of brands. The 'pub food' is just that, thereby fitting the bill perfectly for a casual and very reasonably priced Sunday lunch.
