Delicious brunch, the Royale for me and Bruchetta for my husband. Couldn't believe how speedily the meal arrived. Lovely atmosphere, pleasant staff and the icing on the cake was being able to take our puppy indoors and not be relegated to chilly outdoor eating. Thank you. That meal made my day.
Excellent little cafe with friendly staff. Nice range of cakes to choose from and outdoor seating with views of the boating portion of the mere while you enjoy a cuppa. Round the back there's the parking which backs onto the main mere with some very friendly ducks and geese that will eat out of your hands. You need to bring your own duckfood though.

A lovely day out for the family, ample parking, lovely views of the Mere and wildlife. A small cafe serving a variety of food. Kids menu is a little pricey for what you get, £4.50 for just 1 sausage and chips. However the staff were friendly and the toilets were clean. The highlight of the visit was the boat trip, it was to windy for a rowing boat. Instead we were passengers on a small motor boat and had a 25min tour of the Mere. Really interesting guide and the kids even got to have a go steering the boat! Will be returning soon.
Beautiful views and a nice little walk. Lots of ducks and swans and geese to feed. Lovely little gift shop that sells local items. Cafe serves really nice tasty good quality food, deserts and hot and cold drinks. Recommend a visit.
Lovely cafe overlooking the Mere. Fresh, home cooked food and decent service. Easy parking. Nice to have a little walk afterwards as well.
Really good place to visit especially if you like feeding ducks and geece. The mere has great outlooks so take you camera, the boat trip is worthwhile and the boat hire is cool too. When finished the cafe is great value for coffees and cakes and the food/sandwiches are all home made. Card payment for ease too along with plenty of free parking.

Beautiful place with lots of history. The cafe is well run with a great selection of food and cakes.
The boating is fantastic really good prices for a 30 min round trip of the lake. Highly recommend for a morning out.
Great coffee and cake. Lemon & poppyseed cake was delicious.
Staff were lovely, helped us grab everything a bring it inside when it started raining.
Enjoyed a lovely lunch inside the cafe then sat outside on one of the many benches to take in the view. Very pleasant and friendly staff too.
