The Galley - Hornsea - Photo album

We almost dismissed this gem of a place after looking from the outside and it looking a little weathered. But it is right next to the see and keeping a building like this pristine must be pretty tough! Never judge a book by its cover! As soon as we went in we were welcomed with a great atmosphere,
Had a lovely meal yesterday here. Reasonable prices got seated quickly. Inside was clean and spacious with multiple seating options in different areas of the pub. Nice outdoor area with Seaview too. Food was served quickly piping hot and was cooked as per requested regarding the mixed grill option.
Been quite a few times in our Motorhome to stopover, been quite a few times just to have a drink and eat also, always service with a smile. Big thanks to Neil and the staff, keep doing what you're doing, thank you. Jason & Jacqui
Nice staff thou, you can be waiting in queue for awhile. Same line for food orders and drink orders. Great views of sea and beach. Plenty of room seating inside and outside. Front and back gardens seating areas. Good ale and delicious food. I hope to return again soon
Had the Macaroni Cheese and a child’s meal. All delivered speedily and very hot and tasty. Service was great and all staff we encountered were professional and helpful with all of us. Will definitely visit again!
lovely pub we had a drink there in the afternoon, beautiful view watching the sea so we booked a table for an evening meal with our family. the food was lovely, very friendly staff we requested a table in the conservatory when we booked because its all trimmed up for Halloween, our grandchildren
Just had the most amazing Sunday roast from here! The best we’ve had from a Greene king pub. The service was amazing, went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Will 100% be returning!
Just simply put, absolutely spot on.. Some could argue high prices but the cook on the food and presentation along with the flavours coupled with the views and you soon start thinking it could cost a lot more.. The cafe prefers cash but can accommodate card payments via the boat house.. Two famili
Very popular place, especially as we visited on the hottest day of the year… in September. Been here several times over the years & always been a decent place. Food is very good as are the beers. Well worth a visit if you’re in the area!
Fantastic food, very large portions - perfect if you're really hungry! Quite quit on a Tuesday evening. Live folk band playing, but still had background music on in the bar - not very relaxing with different music in each ear! Lovely evening though, staff v friendly and helpful.
A lovely pub, right on the seafront. There's lots of space inside, and a separate area for visitors and their pets. The pub serves food throughout the day and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit.
Lovely place and very well sited on a fabulously nice day, right by the sea!! They have a good system in place at the bar when it gets really busy, we didn't eat but the food looked really nice as well. Will definitely be back when we come back and will try some food.
Liked the pub for it's lovely views, atmosphere and friendly staff. The food was average( you get what you pay for under £24 for 2 meals and 2 drinks.) The fact it came out within 5mins of ordering it tells me it was reheated.
