Awesome staff, awesome food, nice cold beer,
Lovely outside eating area, huge car park,
Love coming here especially on a Sunday ❤️❤️❤️
Recommend Sunday lunch or the Steak and Tanglefoot ale pie with mash, carrot 🥕 kale 🥬 served with Tanglefoot gravy
As always, an honest review:
We stopped off here and decided to chance it, en route to somewhere else.
Food was delicious, couldn't fault it. Staff were also super friendly and accommodating. The venue itself is lovely to sit in both outside and inside. I can imagine had it not have poured down, it would be a lovely place to sit and eat and drink for hours.
Not so great bits: the Kids menu wasn't the most "child friendly" for maybe pickier eaters, and not a vast amount of choice for kids.
All in all 9/10. Only scoring a point down because they didn't have the kids first choice available, and there were only really 3 other options.
We went on a Sunday afternoon, there was a live band setting up. Originally we were seated in the bar area directly in front of them. Although very good they were also very loud being directly in front of us. The staff kindly moved us to somewhere more suitable so we could talk as a family.
I love that the pub does live events / quizz nights. But equally I'm glad we were able to be moved to a more quiet area. The food as always was very good.
We had a great evening here. It was for a birthday celebration.
The staff were friendly and helpful. We all had a Sunday roast which went down a treat. I would highly recommend The Hornbook to come out and have a nice meal with a great team to look after you.
Thank you
Amazing place, really dog friendly. We loved everything we got served, good vegetarian options. Our dogs got a few treats as well! Parking on site too which is great, would definitely return!
Nice beer garden with plenty of tables and outdoor heaters in the cooler weather. Inside is a bit cramped for tables, but the food is good and reasonably priced. Drinks are pretty much on par with most pubs/restaurants. Staff friendly and unobtrusive.
Seriously good pies. Lots of compliments from our party for the other dishes we ordered. Excellent beer on tap and a lovely interior. Highly recommended
Have just had the Christmas celebration menu & it was gorgeous. Couldn't fault the main & dessert. Staff were friendly & helpful. Haven't been up the Hornbrook for a few years but will certainly be back.
A nice welcoming pub on the outskirts of Horsham. It's for an old pub vibe but looked after. The garden however feels spacious and modern. Perfect for outside dining. Eaten there a few times too and I've never had any complaints.
Lunch was really good, the service was outstanding and really friendly. The pub itself is gorgeous, inside and out, and very dog friendly. We really enjoyed our visit!
