Impressive pub with friendly staff and good food. Lots of TVs to watch different sporting events, including Rugby League.
The music on the playlist is very diverse, and the Anchor Hotel plays a good mix of songs which I really like.
Friends recommended I visit the Anchor Hotel and try a Sunday roast dinner. I was not disappointed.
In the past there has been a two-for-one offer in the week between 4-7pm. I wish GreeneKing would bring back this offer, because this would make me visit more!!!

What a place! Victorian fascia with a funky colourful interior, i wish this place was my front room, cool but unpretentious! This is an ale-mans dream bar. plenty of choice, guest ales, and once a barrel is sold its replaced by something else entirely, each night session here need not taste the same ever again! This is a must visit bar even if its just for a quick pint and a look around. Not to be missed

i enjoyed it here so much i wanted to review it somewhere else too. just a perfect afternoon sat in the sun eating tasty small plates and enjoying a 2 4 1 deal on drinks. music was great, staff were friendly and all in all it was just a pleasure to visit. perfect everytime!

I wasn’t much impressed by the surroundings, the ambience, the clientele, another pint in boring Horsham. However, that was until I met a young bar tender who lead me to enlightenment. He described each beer with precise accuracy, each cider with a crispness I haven’t seen before. Daniel Riley, I’m at a loss for words. What a guy. The best pint I’ve ever had! And I’ve never met the guy before! An intimate warmness, could be described as like a lovers touch. Because that’s what it was. Welcomed, warm, a place to belong. The anchor was what I was searching for all my life. I’ve moored at this port, and I’m more than happy about it.
I don’t know who’s the green king, but I know the blonde, beautiful, bar tender king in front of me. Get this man a promotion.
