My husband ate an excellent and huge Bifana. I enjoyed the expresso coffee and a pastel de nata!
Excellent food and can’t fault with service 5 stars
Friendly and charming little place. By far the best option for dinner if you stay in any of the Heathrow hotels on Bath Road! Feels like on holidays in Portugal. Local crowd mainly but that added to the positive atmosphere. It is also a shop for Portuguese food items and has a beergarden and cold draft Portuguese beer. Food was pretty nice too I must say.
We walked from our nearby airport hotel after reading reviews of this gem online. It was a humid day and the indoor seating area had music that was a little on the loud side, so we sat outdoors in the beer garden. Not much of a view but the breeze was nice. We ordered enough food for dinner and lunch on our flight the next day. For starters we got the PãoPao Completo (Pão, Patês, Manteiga e Azeitonas), the Chouriço Assado (which was smoked), Sardinhas Assadas (absolutely gorgeous!), and the Milho Frito (which was cubes of polenta, lightly sautéed). We got the Pork and Clams and Beef Skewer as main dishes. Both were outstanding. The beef skewer could easily feed two very hungry adults. The wines were remarkable, too. I highly recommend the Duas Quinta. Rich and plummy. Fast, friendly, and attentive service from our Portuguese server.
Really nice Portuguese restaurant. Food was lovely, staff couldn't do enough to ensure our visit was satisfactory. Well attended to without being too much.
Honest decor, great service from all the staff including the owner. Crowded as heck with a lively surge of Portuguese spoken from most tables (and the TV turned to the evening news from Portugal) on a Saturday night - still got excellent and timely service. Grilled octopus was excellent. Wine was good and reasonably priced. Gizzard was excellent. We were delighted with the dinner and the experience. Thanks to everyone there.
Visited this lovely Portuguese restaurant yesterday (unplanned and was Mind Blown,Wish k came across this place during my stay here)and i actually stopped just for a quick bite, Tried the soup of the day with cabbage and Chorizo and damn it was soo good(Proper Soul Food). would certainly visit again and try the other seafood items available there.
1: Soup of the Day (Cabbage and Chorizo) 5/5
2: Octopus Fry with Fried Onions,Olives 5/5
Very intimate and welcoming. The food is amazing and the host and extremely professional. The restaurants offers a fabulous back area to chill if you want to just have a coffee. I would recommend to everyone.
I visited this restaurant yesterday. The food was so tasty. We had the famous Sagres beer. Honestly, the menu has a variety of dishes to choose from. The prices of the dishes were reasonable. I definitely recommend to try their pork chorizo and beef steak. The beef steak was the best among all. Quite a large portion which serves two people easily along with fries and salad. Good quantity and quick service. Would definitely recommend to try this place
First time eating at a Portugese restaurant in London and it was better than anything I've tasted in Portugal!
Recommendation for those in Heathrow Airport hotels. Fantastic value for money, prompt and friendly service. Don't be put off by the frontage. Recommend the sea food spaghetti!
Loved the place, the host and the food is DELICIOUS
