Title: Our Favorite Takeaway Spot: Chinni Chor's Yummy Treats! Chinni Chor in Hounslow West has been our go-to place for delicious food, even though it changed from dine-in to takeaway during Covid and still stays that way. It's like a friend that's been with us through thick and thin, always ready to satisfy our taste buds. **No Change in Yumminess:** Despite the change from dine-in to takeaway, Chinni Chor's food is as yummy as ever. Our daughter's face lights up every time we mention their sweets – kaju katli, boondi ladoo, and jalebi. And let's not forget their savory dishes too! **Gaurav, the Superstar:** Gaurav is a true gem. He's always so helpful and friendly, making our takeaway experience extra special. It's like chatting with a friend while getting our food. **Reminds Us of Good Times:** Chinni Chor's food takes us back to the good times we had when we used to dine in. Their dhokla, chaat, and North Indian dishes taste just like we remember them. **Still Our Happy Place:** Even though we can't dine in right now, Chinni Chor is still our happy place. Their food feels like a warm hug, and we're grateful they're there for us during these times. **Looking Forward:** We're hoping things will get better and we can dine in again, but until then, we're happy with their yummy takeaways. **Family Love:** To sum it up, Chinni Chor's change from dine-in to takeaway hasn't changed how much we love their food. Our daughter's sweets obsession, our love for their North Indian dishes, and the help from Gaurav make Chinni Chor a special part of our family moments. We're crossing our fingers for brighter days ahead and more chances to enjoy their wonderful food!

Have been going to this place for the last 10 years +. Food has been excellent once upon a time -these days its more of a hit and miss on the food - mostly a hit and sometimes a miss which really annoyed me and the family.

We ordered the following items
Pani Puri : it was really tasty. They serve with mix paani & aloo channa. It's worth trying here
Aloo tikki : tikki was really tasty & crunchy.
Pav bhaji : it was not even close to actual pav bhaji. The bhaji was sweet & veggies were not even mashed. Do not try pav bhaji here
Chole bhature : it was decent but not great.
Matka kulfi & ice cream falooda : do not try these here. Not recommended.

If you are Looking for Indian sweets and savoury must give a try. I packed too some sweets from there as I didn’t get that good quality sweets in Germany . Staff is friendly and yes in peak hours don’t expect that they should be fast for you. Just follow the queue 🙂

Very tasty classic vegetarian food. I've eaten in and had the takeaway. Their take away service can get really busy so recommend calling in to place an order in advance. Their sweets are delicious aswell. Portion size is generous for the price.

Awesome! The Pav Bhaji tasted exactly like at Juhu Beach Mumbai and the Sambar of the Dosa reminded me of Tamil Nadu. Five stars and thumps up! 👍

Very friendly staff but the winner would be all of the Indian sweets they have to offer. Right from barfi to pedas to Gulab Jamun. They all are an absolute delight. Haven’t really dined in, but the take away food is a tad above average . Can not go wrong with nan and channa masala

Best place to purchase Indian sweets if around Hounslow West. I also try chai (Indian tea) but it wasn't the Indian way. But sweets yes give a go.

I have a grouse with restaurants passing off Chana daal as Daal tadka simply because Chana dal is cheaper and easier to make. This place is no different. The place seemed very popular especially for the sweets and is very economical as well. The food isn't bad especially for the prices you pay.

they are cheaters. We ordered for 2 small glasses of juice along with other stuff. they served us with large glasses. we went there for first time so we were actually unaware that they had served us with large glasses. at the time of payment they charged us more. when we complained then they said its chef's mistake but you have to pay. moreover, they don't provide you with computerised bill which means they are not paying right taxes to the govt. They are actual chor (thieves).

I cant understand why anyone would leave a review of less than 5 stars for this place, the food is amongst the best Indian food available in southern England. The staff are polite, helpful, and appreciate the fact that someone is embracing their culture, they are always willing to spend time explaining how products are made and what they taste like, also they are happy to make suggestions from the menu, and willing to let you try items that you are curious about. I have been working my way through the menu over the last few months, and so far they have been 100% consistent, every item on the menu is an explosion of flavour, I haven't come across a single item that I do not like. also they are very reasonably priced. this restaurant is a must for anyone visiting the local area! I would leave more than 5 stars if I could!

Saada Punjab in Hounslow 👻. They serve the best of Punjabi cuisine in Hounslow. Saag Aloo + Butter Naan= Majja ni life. All the dishes are plain awesome. The girls at the desk are helpful and smiling. The ambience of this place is typically Punjabi. They have a comprehensive line-up of the best of Indian sweets. Try the gulab jamun and the kala jamun. The service is quick and simple. It's not so expensive like other Indian restaurants elsewhere in London. This was my goto place whenever I missed india in London!!

Came here for the dahi puri. It was really nice but a little less spicy for my liking. The staff is really friendly. The whole ambiance transports you to out of London to India.

This is the third Indian restaurant I have visited in a week here at London.

The occasion: meeting a dear friend after ages.

The outlet is conveniently located near the Hounslow West train station, just 5 mins on foot.

It is a combination of a dine-in restaurant and a sweet shop with display counters lined up next to the cashiers and tempting you with an array of delicious looking Indian sweets.

The outlet is run by a Punjabi family and it looks like every member of the family pitches in managing the outlet.

Coming to the food, we ordered the staple fare of vegetarians which is Paneer Tikka Masala accompanied by Chilli Garlic Naan.

The PTM was standard fare, paneer was not very soft but the gravy was well made and tasted good.

The Chilli Garlic Naan has an addition of finely chopped green chillies to the garlic topping of the naan, as is obvious from the name itself. I was a bit hesitant to order it but my friend convinced me to try it. And am glad he did. It was a good change to the usual garlic naan taste and added that extra bit of zing and spiciness to the overall meal.

A decent Indian restaurant in an area populated by a lot of Indians, it's definitely a popular outlet of choice for many.

Poor customer service - overcharged and would not accept mistake, wrongly added on additional item not purchased; management rude and disrespectful. Food overly spicy and stale - gave stomach upsets - terrible experience overall

Take aways take more time than usual and the food is good. They should clear and save the take away queues as quickly as possible. The prices have gone up in recent times as they were a year back. I am regular visitor but always take away and don't dine in.

Highly recommended for South Indian food and North Indian snacks. Ambience may not be top class but that does stop us going there whenever we are out and about l.

Our travels have brought us to England this week. Had absolutely lipsmacking proper desi khana at 'Chini Chor' in Hounslow West. Paneer Tikkas( we ordered achari and normal) were outstanding. Dal Makhani and Paneer Tikka Masala( for those familiar with British Indian cuisine will know that Tikka Masala is synonym with a particular type of North Indian/ Pakistani flavour) were amazing. Chilli Garlic naan with actual chilli's and Garlic on top was both mouth and eye watering:-). A very slight downer were the Malai Kofta balls which were slightly hard but overall great experience. I just wish in hindsight that should have taken some pictures, anyway, next time....

I have too many memories attached to this restaurant. The achari paneer reminds me of india.. mango lassi is good without ice though. The bollywood music and the smell of spices gives a nostalgic feeling of eating in India. Right amount of heat in spices as I cant eat spicy. It is vegetarian unfortunately

Recommended by my friend, this place turned out to be serving fabulous Indian street food!
Situated in hounslow west near the tube station with a bus stop across the street , so getting in here is not a fuss.
The place is always clean as are the dishes.
Food is so fresh and hot (service take 20-30 minutes for every dish, even for tea and coffee as its been getting ready for you in the kitchen just after you order and thus served fresh). Very authentic and delicious.
A TIP HERE - order everything at once as if you forget something and tell later you again have to wait long!
The staff is at best though and are always actively around the restaurant to take care of you.
Thanks to the owners for such a wonderful experience. Recommend coming!

The vegetarian restaurant has a very good selection of food. It's more like a cafe then restaurant. Excellent food never too hot (spicy). Only concerns are the length of time you have to wait to get served. In a way not a bad thing as you know your meal is going to be freshly cooked. This I suppose depends on what you have. Only other gripe is the that the air conditioning unit blows cold air on you depending where you sit , this can be very uncomfortable. Why cannot the vents be directed away from certain seating areas I do not know.
My main concern is the very very slow service, if this can be improved and the air conditioner air be redirected to a non seating area then my review would award 5/5. As it stands 3/5 is my vote.
By the way strange name for the restaurant Chini Chor to who don't know means in Punjabi Sugar Thief!!
