Typical case of how the best meals can be found in the most random places and we profited from it. We were staying in a nearby hotel due to the crazy prices in Central London and were looking for somewhere to eat. Priya’s is a lovely, family-run eatery and we noticed during our meal how many people would walk in with familiarity, so there is clearly a steady customer base. Most refreshingly for a place that is predominantly a takeaway, the food was not dunked in oil and did not taste like it had been made last week, so a very good experience, all in all.

Lovely little restaurant with a wide variety of starters, mains and sweets. Proper handmade samosas, meat, chicken and vegetable. Tasty spicy sauce came with the samosas too. Bicycle parking is limited to opportunism, a street sign opposite the shop next door, and some railings against the dual carriageway. Will definitely go back to try more of their menu.

Whenever I go to Hounslow I go here and have been going to Priya’s for 23 years. Food has been incredible all this time and it’s home cooked freshness and taste is second to none.

We bought 200 veg samosas for a school event. They were delicious and sold out in an instant. Thanks Priyas, will definitely be back!

Had a nice Biriyani with a crispy papadam. Great place to have food if you are staying in one of the airport hotels on Bath Road. Can easily eat here for less than 10 pound. Will be back!

Lovely restaurant located in Cranford high street, my family has been using them for years. The samosa and lamb shish are very tasty, you can pick from meat and vegetarian samosa. Will definitely be back here, when in the local area.

We had a great experience here even though we only stopped to get a cup of masala chai. The people were very friendly. We were a little short of cash and they still have us the cup o' tea for a lesser price. They have a huge variety of Indian sweets and it looked so delicious that we ended up trying a milk sweet. Delicious !

Absolutely love this little restaurant, been going here on and off since 2005 and I have never ever had a bad experience. Staff amazing, food delicious and very inexpensive. Ask any questions about the food and they will answer it. Seriously I can’t tell you how wonderful this place is.

Fantastic flavours, reasonably-priced - definitely worth it! It's no accident they have such good reviews. This was recommended to us by a colleague's workmate who had eaten from there a few times, arranging to ring orders through and collect. As we were staying at a nearby Ibis (couple of miles up the road) we took a stroll down here to try it out. It's not actually a restaurant, more a takeaway with a few tables. The counter has a large array of sweets in the main section with savoury food (samosas, kebabs, chicken) to the chillers left and right... you'd get the impression they do sweet things with some curry on the side! Nonetheless, once we were seated they offered a menu to select from - we chose Lamb Madras and Chicken Kharai, a single tandoori nan and pilau rice (basmati with peas, rather than coloured) and two cobra. The meal didn't take long to arrive and was surprisingly good: the lamb was soft in a thick dark rich madras sauce with a nice heat; the Karai surprised me - quite light in colour but sharp and clean to the taste, with peppers and onions that were still al-dente, as though they were added later (crunchy, not soft) so retained their bite. Also provided was a complementary small plate of fresh salad, giving a minor fresh crunch with everything else on the plate. I found everything had an excellent taste, just the right amount for two people and great value at around 25. Being in the middle of nowhere it's not like they have huge competition around but was surprised at just how good it tasted, and it's easily beat some larger places hands-down. I heartily recommend it myself, and will make a bee-line for this place the next time I'm staying down there.
