Reviews of Pavillon Rouge

I was introduced to Pavilion by one of my friends. There was serious hype, so I had high, high expectations. I went for the lamb chops and spicy wings (they were the recommended choices). The spicy wings were incredible - super soft and succulent, packed with flavour and a hint of lemon. The garlic mayo sauce complimented them superbly. I could easily devour 21 in one sitting. As for the lamb chops - they were sumptuous. The seasoning was great and it was cooked very well - the meat was juicy and it was easy to chew. It came with a salad and some fries, which was very tasty. I’ve been to this spot over 5 times now, so it’s fair to say there’s good consistency here. I’ve eaten in at every occasion, so that’s my recommendation for freshly cooked food. The staff are super nice and thoughtful. The seating is quite compact and dark, which does dim the experience. The tables could also be a little cleaner. The prices and portions are decent, considering the area. If you’re around west London, especially Heathrow or Cranford or Hounslow ends, you absolutely have to go here for grilled chops and wings. I’ll certainly be returning. 9/10.

What a place, came a cross this place by chance as I was in the area with my girlfriend and wanted to have Lebanese food, the place from inside is like a museum full of beautiful pieces of art all over the walls, We ordered falafel which was the best I have ever had outside the Middle East, hummus was excellent and the mixed grill was delicious. Very attentive service, will definitely be coming back again, highly recommended and excellent value for money.

I and two of my friends went to this place literally every Friday night. Upon a visit about a month ago we have stopped for good. We went in on a Friday as we always do... we ordered our food. The starter we got, humous, was literally the smallest portion I had ever seen. I think even a begger would have refused to accept that portion. We assumed that it was a genuine mistake so we approached one particular member of staff. To our amazement, he said "sorry this is the portion size". Hmmmm. <br/><br/>We let it pass and continued to eat our main course. Once we went to pay at the till, my friend realised our bill was substantially higher than it was supposed to be... every week we go there, every week we get the same food, ever week we pay the same bill amount. When we raised the concern with the staff member who was taking the payment, he brushed it off as "well this is the bill". We attempted to explain the situation to the man that he had over charged us... he became somewhat rude and was persistent on the amount to be paid. He even alleged we lied about being regular customers and that apparently he had never seen us. The story can go on and on.<br/><br/>The bottom line is the customer service is awful. This was not the first time, a few times some things happened but we continued to let it slid but this time was simply just crossing limits. The food itself is NOT overly great. Just convenient being open at that time. And the pricing, well what can I say when this man charged us 2.40 just for a bit of gravy sauce on the chips EACH. Just WOW !!!<br/><br/>Absolutely disgusted with what happened that night.<br/><br/>The three of us went every week with without fail and our bill usually came to about 35 pounds. Thats 35pound a week, which is approx £1820 a year. <br/><br/>Such is the foolishness of the man that dealt with us on the day, he now is losing an income of £1820 a year, just so he could wrongfully take £2.40 from the each of us from a dab of gravy sauce on the chips. Foolish if you ask me.

I visit here at least once or twice a week for lunch and the kebabs are delicious. All food is prepared fresh in front of you and is packed with desired flavours and your choice of sauces. The wait can sometime be ridiculous at lunch times however you could argue it's worth the wait. Decent prices and friendly staff. Definitely worth a quick bite every once in a while :)

Hole in the wall Kebab joint. Neon red lighting. A small place to stand while you wait for your order to be ready. <br/><br/>Staff is efficient. Prompt. No-nonsense!<br/><br/>Food is fresh and prepared in front of u for most dishes. <br/><br/>Tried the Charcoal Chicken Hot n Spicy. As promised had a bit of kick in it. Accompanied by salad and chips!<br/><br/>Stop by if in the vicinity and looking for fresh meat off the grill ! Pricing is moderate !

I work in the Hounslow area and a work colleague recommended we go to a Kebab restaurant called Pavillion Rouge for lunch.<br/><br/>I read up on some reviews but i felt I should give the benefit of the doubt on some of the negative reviews I read but also my work colleague recommended this place from past experience.<br/><br/>I ordered a portion of Chicken Wings and chips (at the time I walked in I also noticed chips sitting in the chip tray waiting to get dished out)<br/><br/>The chef made us some new chips, but they were cooked too early, just sat above the firer while the wings where still cooking.<br/><br/>Once Chicken was ready and boxed the chef then mixed the cooked chips that where sitting above the already getting cold with the chips that where already sitting in the tray when we walked in 10mins ago. they served them, asking what we'd like on top.<br/><br/>I told the Chef, sorry but i noticed you had some chips sitting in the tray when we walked, you didn't even re-heat those with the freshly cooked ones and now you've just mixed them all together, before i finished my sentence they offered to cook a new batch. Note he still kept the reaming chips in the tray (probably for someone else)<br/><br/>I was offered no salad or sauce for me wings, i didn't bother ask because my mind was made up at that point to never go back, my Friends mind was also made up on that as well..<br/><br/>The chicken wings hardly had any seasoning except some salt and a very bland BBQ base that made the wings taste sweet.<br/><br/>The other fresh cuts of raw meat sitting in the front refrigerated display unit had signs of drying out, indicating that meat is not covered up properly over night if not used as the cold air in the fridge has got to them and dried it out, some of the Lamb Khofte just looked different, you could spot the fresher looking ones a mile off in the pile.<br/><br/>Also when we walked in we saw lamb doner meat cut but just left out waiting to be put in the meat cuts storage pot. Obviously things like that just get cold and dry quickly. Who knows how long it was sitting out for.<br/><br/>Again, just like another review, the staff really didn't seem to care, their body language was very negative and it just matched the who experience i had.<br/><br/>I do cook at home so i know a little about looking after food, preparing it but I'm far from Food Health inspector.<br/><br/>It's just sad that some human beings think that can work in this way and serve up to customers, take their money and think everything is OK.<br/><br/>At least the chicken wings will be put to good use, it will be the family cats dinner, out of 5 wings i only wanted to eat 2 of them.<br/><br/>If you really must go there I would advise you go when it's busy, that way you know you'll be getting fresher stuff (but you'll still have to wait for it)<br/><br/>Btw, the fresh chips, they still felt like what the first lot would have been like had I taken them

Shame they went downhill.. I remember when the place first opened. They had a proper trained chef who you could tell really cared about his job. I reckon he is what made the place. <br/><br/>A few years down the line, they built up enough customers to commonly have queues out of the shop. Then standards plummeted. I remember once going in and waiting 30 mins after placing an order for a kebab to be told they had forgotten and were just starting now. Didn't go in for ages after that, but after I eventually returned they did the same thing again after a few visits. <br/><br/>I went there one final time. The donner kebab I received only had two little bits of meat at the bottom, the top 2/3 of the bread had no meat whatsoever. The chilli sauce tasted like chilli power thrown in vinegar. <br/><br/>Shame as back in the day I used to recommend the place to people who would come from well out of the area to eat from there. <br/><br/>Now I wouldn't go back even if it was free.

Very very poor service. I went in there to get some food, staff was not friendly talking to each other in Arabic making fun of Indians some police officers,once I collected food went home open the bag sauce was not in the bag I called them the man answered the phone his attitude was why you did not check the bag it is not his fault I am not sure with attitude how long he can carry on his business that was my last visit to that place !

Amazing food. A little bit pricey and small sitting area inside, but definitely a regular food joint in my books. The salads and chips are delicious. Shish tauk and chicken kafta are my favourite. Throw in some of their chilli sauce and you have some of the best Turkish food in West London in my opinion.<br/><br/>Last time I visited, I had a shish tauk with only chilli sauce, the salad was packed separately for take away. It was delicious! It actually tasted different to if they had salad mixed. I'd recommend trying it this way.<br/><br/>+They serve halal food+
