Reviews of White Bear Pub

I could say a lot about The White Bear. Are the tables sticky? Sure. Are the restrooms always in great shape? mmm questionable. ..But are the staff any good? How about the Patrons? Honestly I would have said that these guys had my back in pre-pandemic days. The staff were the most supportive, incredible people I'd ever met and I'm still in touch with some patrons I'd met back then, to this day! But then all of a sudden the staff changed and I was randomly treated like a stranger and not in a good way, just a bit of hostile sass and then just ditching me to be in an entirely empty pub literally all by myself so the staff could go around the back and complain about their phone plans or something. I couldn't have cared less about the sticky tables and restrooms and stuff at THIS pub - That PLUS the community was what gave the pub its "rawness" which just felt like a part of it. So I'ma four-star review for now because they had incredible staff at a certain point, and maybe my situation occurred during the pandemic transition. But I'll be revisiting this one at some point to see what's up.

Have not been to this pub for a couple of years , stopped by and bar staff remembered me , that's so nice . Decided to have some food and ordered a Tandoori Fish , it was amazing ! Much better than all the restaurants and enjoy a nice not overpriced beer too ! Nice place , nice staff and great food ...

Friendly and helpful staff, 2 pool tables , friendly and generally young crowd, good music with dj of fri/ sat nights when its open till late depending on crowd. Several washrooms available. Indian food served at very reasonable prices .good security .great place to chill with friends enjoying the DJ / music.
