This is the cleanest restaurant I have been to in a very long time! The service is quick and friendly, and the burgers are great! They were playing great music( 80s rock)and the temperature was comfortable (I’m always cold at restaurants ) Wish we had this place in Dallas!

My favorite Houston hamburger joint. Outstanding burgers. Wonderful people. Astros on the t.v. Ask for you fries well done. Or Southwell's has terrific onion rings.

I have to come to the med center often and we like to grab a burger here before we head back home. Burgers are great and not too greasy. Fries and onion rings are really good too!

My first time visiting was a nice experience. I went in the late afternoon on a weekday, so it was hardly busy, which made it a quiet lunch break. I had the grilled onion burger where I added bacon for extra, but I didn't realize it didn't come with cheese. Overall, the burger tasted great without cheese. I wished I had more understanding of how to interpret the menu up high on the boards and the ingredient options listed on the counter. Burger size was about the same as fast food burger but tasted freshly made as did the French fries. French fries are small, so if you like a lot of fries, don't share with anyone, everyone get their own. Nice place 👌

Seriously great food. It’s what I think a burger should be. Fries are perfect. No meal specials but the food and vibe are outstanding. There’s a Whataburger across the street and, after eating here, I have no idea why anyone would go to a chain restaurant instead of southwells!

Great home style burgers, you can’t go wrong here- it’s no wonder they’ve been in business this long. Their regular fries aren’t my favorite, but the sweet potato fries are to die for. I always get avocado added to my burger and it’s always fresh and never disappointing, you’ll definitely get full with these burgers.

Very good but not the cheapest burgers . Waffle fries were tasty also . Would definitely recommend it. Was on a day trip and it was near my hotel .
