The Manor House

My husband and I had our wedding reception at The Manor House at the Houstonian in October 2020 and we loved it. The venue and the grounds are beautiful, elegant, and very well maintained. Every staff member we worked with was professional, courteous, and on top of things. Amber was our primary contact at the Houstonian and she was friendly and responsive. She communicated with us throughout the wedding planning process and was flexible with constant changes due to the pandemic. The food was excellent. Many of our guests remarked about how good the appetizers and main courses were. They were also able to make signature cocktails of our choosing. One of the many things I appreciate about the Houstonian is that because they manage weddings and other events every weekend, they know exactly what they are doing in terms of logistics and customer service. The catering, bar services, tables and chairs, rooms for getting ready, and get-away car (a Houstonian car) were all handled by them, which meant we didn't have to find other vendors for those things. They also coordinated with the cake baker, Susie's Cakes. Amber and the other Houstonian staff members collaborated with our wedding coordinator to make it all feel seamless. The staff checked on us as we were getting ready to see if we needed anything. We felt like we were in excellent hands throughout the entire process and on the day of. Our reception was fun, seamless, and elegant. The Manor House is a top notch venue that I would recommend to anyone.
