Forget that you ever heard the name Krispy Kreme or Dunkin Donuts, because the true king of donuts in Houston, Texas is Shipleys!! I have been told it's the potato flour that since their donuts apart. Recently moved to Houston and I haven't tried Shipley's donuts, you truly have not experienced all that Houston has to offer. Shipley's is a Houston landmark much like Pappasito's Mexican food or Goode Co barbecue. if try Shipley, donuts, do not like them; I will personally refund your money.

Not many places make donuts fresh when you order. This Shipley’s location is truly something special. The donuts come out so hot you usually have to wait a minute or two before you can eat them but when you do they melt in your mouth.

I'm just telling the truth if I can eat this 7 days a week and get away with it I would trust me the best donuts I had by far every donut is excellent perfect glazed everything is great atmosphere just loved it

The best in Houston!!! I drove from 🍐 Pearland to get these. Why? They melted in my mouth.. A coworker gave us some that Friday, and I was on a hunt the next week. I ate them so fast while driving. Apple fritter and cinnamon roll for me plus what the kids wanted. Great prices. Thx we'll be back.

I am finally reviewing this Houston location staple. If you ask most Houstonians where the best Shipley is, they will tell you the location off of Ella. It truly is!! I have been coming here for a number of years and the consistency is outstanding. You are highly likely to get hot doughnuts coming here. We call this our late night doughnut spot!

It's Shipley's. The donuts and kolaches are top-notch and worth sitting in line for. The only issue with this location is its location. The parking is practically non-existent, and the drive-through is set up in a way that it backs up into 34th st. after about 2 cars.

Stopped by during a short trip to Houston and can I say.. obsessed! As someone from nj, you can’t get fresh donuts like these especially for the price. Pls open a location near me 🥺

This specific location is awesome, I get a dozen plain glazed for the crew at work, on a regular basis, and the donuts are always still hot, omg that's great, staff is always helpful and nice, and they are always so busy, keep up the great job it is appreciated!!
