This is my first time visiting this location and it was a decent experience. I would still prefer the other la tapatía location to this one. Although this one was a lot more chill and had plenty of seating. I'd go back if invited for sure. The food was on point per usual for La Tapatía.

Got pretty good Mexican food with reasonable prices. Recently started a diet of no red meat and this place had plenty of options to offer within that restrictions. I had the chicken burritos which was pretty good. Although most of their options were pretty similar in nature which could be a downside.

5 stars from the bottom of my heart to this old-school place.
Still as cozy as it used to be back in the 90s when I was in college.
I'm just so attached to this place. Due to their fair prices back in the days, I & many other students like me considered this place as 2nd. home🏡
They used to have a couple of locations, and now they have grown to a big chain of authentic & home-style Mexican restaurant.
It is hard to transform your small family owned restaurant to a franchise business without losing the authenticity & originality of the cuisine, yet these guys have pulled it off with precision. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

The staff was super friendly, the atmosphere was great and the food was amazing. I will have the fried quail again for sure. The size of one quail is small. So if you eat large meals order three or more. The food price was good compared to the quality

I really enjoyed having lunch there. They have a nice, decent menu with decent prices. He had fajitas for two and iced tea for$30. The service was prompt and the servers were very nice. I will come back.

This review is based on a visit Sunday evening. I had ordered a carne asada fajitas. I would say the food is priced right here. The food tasted good and the ingredients were fresh. Out of all the food I've ever ordered here, I was never disappointed. I personally enjoy the atmosphere, it's a place where you can go dressed comfortably and enjoy a meal. They have music playing at a reasonable tone. They have a decent amount of people here and it isn't too noisy if you are having a conversation with someone. The workers here do a great job of keeping the place looking clean. The workers here are also pleasant to deal with. So far there's not a bad thing I can say about the people here.

Great for late night eats. I ordered mixed nachos (beef and chicken). They make nachos the proper way with each individual chip having ingredients on it. While the beef had good flavor, the large piece of fajita was a little hard to chew. Chicken was solid and I would probably just order chicken nachos next time. The guac that comes with the nachos was really good and I will definitely order some as an appetizer next time.
