Church's Texas Chicken

By far the calmest and most relaxed Church's I've been in. I had the craving and it hit the spot. If are over in this part of town and want chicken. Go for it because I'm amazed with the service. Nothing went wrong and got everything in a timely manner. It's a drive for me but I think I'm willing to drive over for some chicken when the craving hits.

I have been waiting to eat Church's Chicken since the pandemic; however, when Church's opened back up all locations was just drive thru and since I don’t do drive-thru other than chick-fil-a, I opted for Popeyes since they had the take option. Needless to say, my experience was awesome! Great customer service, since I only eat white meat, I always ask for it to be freshly cooked, and my request was no problem. The workers were courteous and lobby was clean so I ate my food there. Also, the grease was fresh, so the chicken tasted even better!

I love fried okra and this place makes it! The spicy chicken is much spicier than similar fastfood chicken restaurants, so order with caution. My mom did not like the heat but I enjoyed it. Consider a half and half order I stead for those with weak spice pallets. They sell half gallon sweet tea, good call! Food is good and inexpensive, not perfect but good.

Great fried chicken! The best I have had in a long time!. Service was also excellent and the manager was very courteous in spite of my mistake with a coupon! The print was small and I didn't notice that it read "only one coupon per person." The manager allowed me to use it for 2 orders, for which I am very grateful. I will be back soon to make up for my mistake.

Churches Chicken is very good and tasty out here in the south. I lived in Oakland CA for 13 years and the churches chicken tasted totally different in California. California churhes chicken was bland as Ion what. I love the spicey Chicken, out here it's not to spicey or not to mild it's just right. But the regular can use a little more seasoning, or a little more kick to it. I enjoyed it. I haven't had churches in years because it was nasty in Cali, but now I will start eating churches again. Also churches need to work on getting more specials.
