Great restaurant, only a few tables. Got recommended by a client at work. Had the courgette and salmon sauce pasta special and it was superb. We got seated straight away even though we hadn't booked. Both members of staff we spoke to were very friendly. Would definitely recommend and will certainly be back. Prices were also excellent.

Superb, from the moment my friend and l entered. Charming owners welcome (and cook) for you, from an extensive menu and excellent wine list. We had a different chef's special each, swapped halfway to see if we enjoyed them each. We did! Salmon with spaghetti, sliced cooked cucumber and cheese, and stunningly tasty rounds of beef in a rich butter and herb sauce, with neatly sliced warm focaccia. A simple, lovely decor, linen cloths and napkins - very light background music. We had complimentary olives and, after a bottle of rosé and dessert, also complimentary Limoncello. A lovely experience, and we'll be regular visitors from now on.

One of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been to! My partner and I visited Semola to celebrate my passing my PhD viva and it did not disappoint. From the excellent customer service from both front of house and kitchen staff to the incredible food we LOVED it! It was also extremely well priced. I had a special which was pesto and potato lasagne, whilst my partner had the seafood linguine. We also started with one of the sharing platters which I couldn’t recommend more! My only regret is that I was too full to try their desserts. I recommend booking as it’s extremely popular! Can’t wait to visit again!

It is good that the containment barrier is still in place. Handmade pasta is very chewy and delicious, whether it's pasta with tomato and seafood or pasta with cream of mushroom. It's a big portion. The owner was very friendly. The environment is nice and quiet.
