One of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been to! My partner and I visited Semola to celebrate my passing my PhD viva and it did not disappoint. From the excellent customer service from both front of house and kitchen staff to the incredible food we LOVED it! It was also extremely well priced. I had a special which was pesto and potato lasagne, whilst my partner had the seafood linguine. We also started with one of the sharing platters which I couldn’t recommend more! My only regret is that I was too full to try their desserts. I recommend booking as it’s extremely popular! Can’t wait to visit again!

It is good that the containment barrier is still in place. Handmade pasta is very chewy and delicious, whether it's pasta with tomato and seafood or pasta with cream of mushroom. It's a big portion. The owner was very friendly. The environment is nice and quiet.

Lovely ambience and good service. They make their own pasta and the pasta dishes are delicious. However, best to give the desserts a miss as they weren't great and weren't home made.

Had a wonderful dinner, tasty food and amazing pizza. Sadly poorly daughter but as I was on my own with two the waitress kindly got us some calpol, very much appreciated and excellent service, thank you.

Just delightful … from the welcome to starter … main course and sweet! We took all the recommended dishes and wine and couldn’t be happier with the results. It’s a real gem in Hove.

First time I have been to this restaurant and will certainly return . Could not fault it even on a Monday evening. Very attentive service and an extremely varied menu, five of us chose different things and were not disappointed.

We felt very relaxed when we sat down after a friendly welcome. Some quiet laid back music was playing. I weent for the speacial which was the meatball mix with ham and an egg along with pizza bread and a salad and I found it delicious but daughter was even more delighted with her 4 cheese gnocchi which she said was perfect. The house wine was very quaffable.
