One of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been to! My partner and I visited Semola to celebrate my passing my PhD viva and it did not disappoint. From the excellent customer service from both front of house and kitchen staff to the incredible food we LOVED it! It was also extremely well priced
Had a wonderful meal at Semola. The service was very friendly and welcoming, and the food was delicious. Very generous portions and absolutely packed with flavour. Plenty of vegan options too. Highly recommended.

It is good that the containment barrier is still in place. Handmade pasta is very chewy and delicious, whether it's pasta with tomato and seafood or pasta with cream of mushroom. It's a big portion. The owner was very friendly. The environment is nice and quiet.
Lovely ambience and good service. They make their own pasta and the pasta dishes are delicious. However, best to give the desserts a miss as they weren't great and weren't home made.
Had a wonderful dinner, tasty food and amazing pizza. Sadly poorly daughter but as I was on my own with two the waitress kindly got us some calpol, very much appreciated and excellent service, thank you.

Just delightful … from the welcome to starter … main course and sweet! We took all the recommended dishes and wine and couldn’t be happier with the results.

First time I have been to this restaurant and will certainly return . Could not fault it even on a Monday evening. Very attentive service and an extremely varied menu, five of us chose different things and were not disappointed.
We felt very relaxed when we sat down after a friendly welcome. Some quiet laid back music was playing. I weent for the speacial which was the meatball mix with ham and an egg along with pizza bread and a salad and I found it delicious but daughter was even more delighted with her 4 cheese gnocchi
An absolutely incredible experience every time. Pumpkin and salmon gnocchi - fantastic, nearly moved me to tears with how delicious it was. Really great wine list, and the guys who run it are just wonderful
Absolutely love this brilliant restaurant. Owner are superb, Service is to die for and the food amazes at each and every visit. Would eat here daily if I could. Supreme Italian.

Semola is an authentic Italian place in Hove. When me and my Italian friends are feeling nostalgic, we come here to eat good food.
Also, Roberto and the staff are very friendly and working in the restaurant with passion.

We ate an amazing Fusilli with Piccante e Salsiccia the best pasta you can eat in Brighton! If you wanna try the really Italian pasta you have to came to Semola.

Hidden gem! Absolutely gorgeous food! Cosy and cute place for a date. Reasonably priced for quality food 😍. I'm not a local but I will definitely be back!

I want to try this restaurant because it has been told me that the pasta dishes there, are amazing. Well, I have to say that it's true but when I tried also the fish dishes, I was very pleased surprised. Freshness and test of an high category restaurant. Next time I will try meet dishes!
