Hidden gem in Hove! The good was flavourful. Tried the lamb curry which was very tender! They also gave complimentary sides. We were so stuffed we had to take the rest home! I will be visiting again

Flawless food beautifully cooked, fresh, aromatic and full to the brim with flavour. Affordable prices and decent portion sizes. Our 4 year old absolutely loved the chicken noodles.

The takeaway was very authentic. Had the special fried rice and devilled chicken, while waiting had a spot of Arrak.

Delicious food, both vegetarian and meat dishes. Healthy and not very oily. Large portions. Enjoyed everything I ordered. Friendly staff. Definitely going again.

We visited Moonstone this Thursday and had a great experience. The vegan options were superb and we found combining the devilled jackfruit with the potato and cabbage veg curry to be the perfect match of spice, sauce, and texture.
We finished the meal with the cheesecake which was sublime.
We spoke to the owner who was lovely and found it to be a shame that restaurant had so few customers on a Thursday evening but hoping it was just a slow night.

We love this restaurant! Discovered it last year when visiting Brighton and made a point of coming back.
We had never tried Sri Lankan food before so it was really interesting to have a change from Indian/Thai curries and try something new. The food is delicious and can all the dishes can be made more or less spicy according to your taste.
Nice decor and great service too.

We couldn't fault it! Excellent happy, friendly, smiley service, authentic music playing & the food was absolutely superb. It was my birthday & the waitress brought me cake with a candle & 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY' written on the plate with chocolate

Had the food here recommended by a few people. It didn't disappoint. Really enjoyed the chicken roll for starters. The lentil rolls were tasty but a little dry. The aubergine ratatouille was almost sweet and sour. I really enjoyed the devilled chicken and chicken rice. Friendly staff and prompt service. Ate with people who'd travelled there who felt it was very similar to food they had experienced in Sri Lanka.
